New thinnest watch

This is the new record holder.

After the ultra-thin (and ultra-ugly and ultra-expensive) Richard Mille Ferrari something this one beats the record by a staggering 0,05mm (insert wow-meme here).

Not gonna lie but the talks at Bulgari must’ve gone something like „We want thinner!“ and „How ugly should it be? - YES!“

They basically beat Richard Mille in all aspects but the price (I guess).

What do you think about it?

Want some „heft“ on your wrist?

…and people say Bulgari is a fashion brand, not a watchmaker.

·

I wonder of the possibilty that this would snap in two while being worn😅

·

Is there any crystal on that thing?? It's really hard to tell.

Regardless, it's quite a feat and I do quite like the design. I doubt I'll ever be able to afford it (or, I'd probably rather spend my 💰💰 elsewhere)

And Bvlgari back in the hot seat does feel like some normality is resumed.

My concerns as well!

·

Honestly, I think that the Richard Mille is better looking... 🫣

·

Serious question….at what point is thin just too thin?!?!!? Love the record breaking design but come on! This is both amazing and ridiculous 😅

·

Does this thing even have crystal?

·

Popular topic today.

Impressive, but still ugly.

·

Great job Bulgari Octo finisimo but its not for everybody [me]. I dont like any of the other watches they make. Mehhh

·

ngl i kinda dig it

·

1.7MM is laughable!

Invicta Finissimo 😅

Next year Bulgari just hands people what they think are promotional flyers or brochures at an event . . . but there's actually a cut-out watch with a microscopically thin movement. People fishing through the trash for their watch that they crumpled up.

·

Bulgari has developed a very special box with a digital interface that allows you to wind and set the time of your watch. You just need to place the watch inside the case, enter the time, and, with the push of a button, initiate the adjustment cycle. Within moments, the watch is wound and set to the desired time.

Exactly. This is nuts.

·

It's a divisive watch. I love it. I will likely never own it but I'd never turn it down.

That’s why you don’t pay attention to people

·

I feel like it could get bent so easily

Yeah. People are the worst. 🤔

Richard Mille’s response is a thin ceramic ribbon-like bracelet where upon stroking it counterclockwise an F1 driver of your choosing will be helicoptered to your exact location to bark the time at you in a language of your choice. For an extra £150,000 they can be gold-plated.

·

Think u can just snap in half 😂?

·

I've been pretty fond of super thin watches, and this does look really good

This actually made me laugh out loud. There should be a very special WC badge for that.

I think it’s the coolest watch but I know my fat wrist would break it. The thinner it is the more weak it must become. I will say they kept the integrity of their watches with this new Octo compared to the credit card Richard Mille made.
