At least the mechanical versions of the quartz watches seem to have screw down casebacks.

They also have some specific models with different brushed cases, but it's only very few models. No clue how good these are.

Fun fact: Finnish scouts are kind of technically girl scouts because they belong to the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. As in every scout in Finland is, in a sense, a girl scout.

The watch is really cool. I wish I could do stuff like that, but with my awful co-ordination with my body and shaky hands, it is unfortunately not possible. 😭

Would need a SO first. 😅

I don't mind a watch without one, but I do like having one most of the time. That said, non-hacking movements with a seconds hand do not deserve to exist.

Happens all the time. I look at my watch to check the time and then forget that I'm checking the time, so I have to look at it all over again to do that.

Why would I put on a watch when there's already one on my wrist?

(Except for the times when I change my watch, but this doesn't have a consistent schedule)

I quite like Nomos because they don't really stick to the bauhaus thing with all of their watches. On some models, they add stuff that makes the watches more interesting even if it doesn't fully sit with the bauhaus design philosophy. Some of their models are really boring, though.

On the other hand, something like Junghans Max Bill is incredibly boring to me.

Male end links

What do you think about male end links on bracelets? I think they are an awful trend from watch companies. I don't see any benefit to them and they make the bracelet less wearable for smaller wrists w...
