My newest watch is probably my most legible in the light, but pretty much useless in the dark. It does have a push button LED light, but the light it provides is almost laughable.
I have several watches that I feel are very legible, but one that stands out is my Omega Speedmaster 57. Most chronographs are notoriously difficult to read at a glance, but due to the way the sub-dials have been implemented, that's not the case with this one. The hands are faceted in such a way that they always seem to catch any available light, and at night there is acceptable lume. The proportions between the hour hand and the minute hand make it pretty much impossible to confuse them.
I think the Seiko is a winner for legibility so far. I'd struggle to find anything easier to read than that.

Iโll do you one better. This is the most legible AND audible watch in my collection. The legendary Weekender, inspiration for Edgar Allen Poe.
I have one of then. Legibility hard to beat

This is a sub-style mod I assembled using a Crystaltimes CT-817 fully lumed dial. I
The dial was discontinued and I sold this one off, but I kept a couple for other builds.

Maybe not exactly the most legible dial, but the most legible display. ๐
I donโt wear it much any more. Probably gonna swap it out soon. But itโs clean and easy to read.

I believe I once heard someone say that the time on a Pelagosโ dial was, โas obvious as a stop signโ
Best modern dive watches IMPO
Thats louder than Lexi Saile ๐
I have the same Lorus. Hard to beat at that price
My Certus is my everyday home watch. Nice, clean and GREEN!
Hard to go past a pilot watch when it comes to legibility. I can read the time on this one from across the room so Iโll go with my Propilot

Those blue hands are great
Thanks! I like how they hide for a while and then jump out in the right light.
