NWA: Humbled and Blessed
Friends, as per my previous post, I was relaxing this afternoon with a Heineken, on FaceTime with my son @MrRedDot and a call interrupted us. It was my salesperson at my Rolex AD.
“Hi Ben, it’s Rachel… believe it or not, your timepiece is here”! “Get the hell outta here” was my first response. This was wayyyyyy ahead of schedule. I could collect it anytime in the coming week… no 48 hour shenanigans. “I’ll be there in an hour”!
Crunchers, all of the reasons why I threw my name in the hat came flooding back. Personal and professional accomplishments. I got emotional and excited and couldn’t wait to collect MY Rolex.
It doesn’t disappoint… in fact, it exceeds my expectations. I know that I’m for sure solidly in the honeymoon phase, but I don’t think I will be falling out of love anytime soon. She’s beautiful and marks a place in time that won’t soon be forgotten!
Collector of all things cool and unique. Watch junkie, car freak. Why say no when it feels so good to say yes?

I asked a similar question about increased allocation and the AD said they are still getting 2 shipments per month, but more watches in each shipment. I’ve read that Rolex has been able to increase their production post-Covid. Maybe that’s the reason? Or maybe I’m just lucky, lol.

Thanks! For me at least the fluted bezel was the only way to go. In person, the fluted bezel throws SO MUCH light! IMHO it is sooooo worth the up charge.
