Your favourite impulse buy?

Given that I purchased a new watch literally 10 minutes after seeing it at 2 AM, I want to know this: what are your favourite impulse purchase watches? Share in the comments!

I bought a Zelos while watching a Random Rob live feed. He said there will still some left at the initial offering, I think #300. It was the best $300 I have spent. That thing is built like a tank.
Most of the watches in my current collection I do the opposite and way over analyze. I have impulse bought a few watches (Zelos mako titanium and brew retromatic most recently) but the only impulse buy to stay in my collection has been the Casio Baby-G Pokémon limited edition. I don’t wear it a ton, but it puts a smile on my face when I do!
I picked up an Omega Speedmaster 3861 Sapphire Sandwich as a spur or the moment decision. I had dropped by the AD for something totally unrelated, and the Speedy caught my eye. I must admit that I had a bit of buyers remorse at first, but that was very short lived. It's one of my favorite watches in my collection now - super comfortable bracelet, and overall awesome watch with a nicely decorated movement.

Good thing Omega, unlike another luxury brand, is so readily available!

My best impulse buy was my Tissot PR100 Powermatic 80. It's basically a PRX but without the 70s styling or integrated bracelet (same movement, water resistance, hour and minute hands). I got it new for $240 on eBay a few weeks back. Honestly sometimes I just think about doing a two watch collection with this and my SNJ025 Arnie

Man, I can only wish I had the coin to make impulse buys like this happen! I mean, I could always pretend... and then inevitably be forced to return on my way to finding a good divorce attorney 😂

Made an offer on this on eBay because it came with the a brand new Un-worn black leather Hamilton strap with white stitching. I low balled him and he accepted my offer. I thought I would keep the strap and sell the watch to have a practically free strap.
But after wearing it for a few days, I don't thik I will ever part with it. The face is beautiful with the red contrast, not heavy, easy to read, and goes well with every strap. I love it so much when it stopped working I sent it in and had it serviced which cost more than I paid for the watch itself.
I saw this one on a Facebook store and bought it immediately. 🤣 The price was really good and there was another buyer talking to the seller at the same time, so I had to make a quick decision. No regrets!
Mine was the Ginza Alpinist from Seiko.
Most recent impulse buy? Hands down on dark manta ray turtle, couldnt resist the dial, with that said its probably the worst seiko i have ever pulled trigger, nothing lines up.

This IWC Ingenieur Chrono that I found in Japan on my visit in 2019. Such an uncommon genta designed tool watch since they discontinued the style a couple of years ago.
Unfortunately every single impulse watch purchase I have ever made has wound up being sold or gifted away. I blame my OCD

I've only had one. The Bulova Lunar Pilot Limited Edition. I bought it because it had a pretty good discount at the moment. Since the speedy is the best watch of all time for me, I thought "why not".
I love it now. It kinda gives the same vibe while being completely different all at once.

A Temption CM03 ……saw it in a magazine article and just had to have it……wish I still did, I couldn’t get a good fit on my wrist due to the integral bracelet design and butterfly clasp, I’m OCD about how they feel on my wrist. We all have our little foibles don’t we?
