Panerai's New Navy Seals Models

I am ambivalent. I am just so used to small watches.

I know Panerai had put out the Quaranta (40 mm) I believe. Not sure if these come that small.

I like the first two, the last one looks too much like an analog G-shock to me. I would however not buy anything that says Navy Seals on it

All of them are pretty neat in their own regard I think. Options 1,2,&3 are the ones I’d probably like most. The green is great but there are models of Panera I’d likely want to experience in green first.

Panerai’s design language has really really grown on me! The only hang up I have here is the fact I’m not a SEAL lol I feel like with a name like that on the dial, gotta have some weight and pedigree I feel like

LOL. I wanna know what navy seal goes to battle or water with a 60k watch. Some brands really need a reality check.

I had been looking for another Panerai watch last December, was introduced to a young woman hired by the boutique that I sometimes buy a new watch from, she was hired away from a Panerai only shop to aggressively sell the models as a new store manager. I basically asked her to suggest a watch that would encouraged me to pull out my credit card,hopefully would not be a regret I was putting my faith in her experience. I am very open minded and accepting of good suggestions. She introduced me to one of the Navy Seals iterations as a credible investment watch. I am sure Panerai will sell more than a few but not to me on that day and not in the future.

I would get a Panerai if price was not an issue and of these 4, I think I like the GMT the most.

The Navy Seals one? Pass, even though it's allegedly worth more than the other 3 together.

My favorite of the bunch. Agree with the above — I’d feel like a poser wearing a watch that says Navy Seals on the dial. So would not purchase.

Yeah if it said 1:a Amfibiebataljonen that wouldve been different though but I also feel like I wouldnt pay premium for wearing names you already earned.

I like the panerai case and overall looks. Just that tiny detail - the lack of minute marks- bothers me. Hehehe. But if you like the watch enjoy it in the best of health 🤗

Honestly Panerai is on my list right now as a possible next year purchase. My favorite is the radiomere with the green lume. I am not a huge fan of the date window on that line, but otherwise I like the watch a lot. The case treatment and the color pallet both work for me.

You will not be disappointed if you purchase one. The uniqueness is fantastic.

I believe the quaranta is the smallest they make. It just fits me and always makes me smile when I wear it.

Yeah, I think they are very sharp! I think if they took the Navy Seals off the watch and used a Navy logo it would be more palatable. Hard not to like the design language, especially if you are into the Panerai aesthetics.

I’m more of a Radiomir guy but even at 40mm it is still not found it’s way on my wrist. 🤷🏻‍♂️

But, why though?! Who’s gonna buy this? Seals? They’re glorified in the US, the rest of the world doesn’t give a shit.

You would be surprised at what folks will buy: Bitcon, NFTs, overpriced watches, etc., etc.

I like them immensely but my wrist is only 6” . Love the design though. Panerai are getting better and better .

I’m that buyer of Bitcoin 😂 I have to keep it now as I bought it when it was close to high . I reckon maybe 5 years to break even ( I am an optimist about the blockchain )

I think those folks who got in and out early enough made a killing. I just could not wrap my head around it from an investment perspective. I shy away from concepts I don't understand. I'm more of the Fox in those situations.

These watches look killer. The PAM01409 would be my choice. Absolutely stunning 😍
