SOTC at the end of the year.

As 2023 is coming to an end, this is the current state of my collection.

Seiko SBBN035

Breitling Aerospace E75362

Sinn 556A

Omega Seamaster 300M 2531.80

Casio DW6900

Seiko SZSB006 Tic Tac Limited Edition

Seiko SARB017

Seiko SNA411

Seiko SRPE057

Casio Duro

I also have a Casio DW5600 that is not pictured.

That's it, that is my collection.

In 2023, I picked up the Omega Seamaster, Casio Duro and Breitling Aerospace.

I got rid of the one watch I said I would never sell. My Grand Seiko SBGX341. I sold it because I never really wore it and sadly admitted to myself that I just never connected with it, and plus it had to go to make room for the Aerospace.

Going into 2024, the only watch on my radar is a Grand Seiko to replace the SBGX341. I am leaning towards the Snowflake, but am not completely sold on it. I did get a chance try one on earlier this week, and the sizing was perfect for my wrist, and I like the lightness of the titanium case and bracelet.

That is my collection as it stands now at the end of 2023.

Good stuff, I just started collecting in June and the bug bit me hard lol, I bought several watches this year and my plan for 24 is to focus on a few pricier models vs just filling my box and of course saving for my grail

How do you like the Tic Tac? That's been on my radar lately. Love the cathedral hands and 12/6, though I wish there was a 36mm version.

I got into this "hobby" over the summer of 2020. I thank the YouTube algorithm. In that time I have churned through a few watches. I think I have bought 13 or 14 watches, and have gotten rid of 3 or 4. At this point I can't really keep count anymore. My goal is to get a GS Springdrive this year, and maybe allow myself a few more affordable watches. We will see if I can stick to that.

I like the dial and the size is perfect for me. I had been eyeing one for awhile and I was able to pick it up at a Tic Tac store while in Hiroshima.

Best SOTC post I've seen since I started coming to WatchCrunch. I can't argue with any of those watches. Nicely done.

Thank you for that comment. I have curated a collection so far that I am very content with.

Stunning selection. Which one is your most worn and what are you not sold of regarding the snowflake?

Over the long haul it is the Sinn. Recently it has been the Breitling, but it is my most recent purchase. I am pretty sure the Snowflake will be my next purchase, but I am still on the fence on if I want a Springdrive versus one of GS's regular mechanical movements.

Loving the custom leather strap on the SeaMaster - looks awesome brown on blue 👌

Nice collection

·

Love it. Properly grounded selection.

·

I like your collection. I am currently saving for a GS as well. I am content with my current collection too. Nice to hear that you are enjoying yours.

·

Are your favorites in the middle of the case?

·

Love the collection. And the military aesthetic. The Breitlinh Aerospace would be my pick. You don't get many on here.

Yeah, I would say the most worn are the Breitling, Sinn and Omega.

I love the Aerospace. I had been spying on them for awhile and then one popped up for sale at a brick and mortar store not to far from me. It is titanium too, so it is a dream to wear.

·

Outstanding collection. The Sinn 556 and Seiko SARB017 are my favorites.

·

Nice collection - particularly like the Aerospace, just a watch I’ve always thought looked cool. 🍻

·

Even the Casio Duro is on point with an added splash of color and the Aerospace is a giant in a box full of icons. Well done!

Ive almost pulled the trigger on one several times. Maybe next year...

Do it.

Really nice collection! 👌That Aerospace is too cool!

·

We have four of the same watches, The Duro, the Aplinist, the 5600 series, and the 556. I would say you have extraordinarily good taste and judgment.

·

Great collection! My favorite is hearing the certainty in your assessment of your watches. That takes lots of time and money to achieve. Congrats!

@cabarbhab beautiful collection!! I second @88MilesPerHour sentiment on the Seiko Tic Tac, stunning watch. How do you like it so far?

Very nice, great collection!
