Noob question. Is this a computer render with an error?

I've been looking at the 2020 Batman Aquaracer GMT, and I'm confused about something. In some of the online (text-based) reviews, the pictures show a...

[POLL] I GIMP'ed my Duro to see what it would look like with some mods. What do you think?

This is not a philosophical question.

I GIMPed the image you see here to help describe what I'm looking for. You know how the rubber strap that comes with a Duro "flanges" out width-wise j...

My favorite watch is this Grammy Precisionist my wife bought me for my birthday last year. I have recorded and mixed a lot of music, and have worked in some facet of audio for over two decades, so the watch is very "me." However, I never wear the thing while I'm at work because it has no rotating bezel, thus I can't time my breaks (three each day, all of which start whenever I can fit them in, so it's hard to keep track), so it's impractical for weekday use.

That said, I'm planning on getting another Precisionist, the "Champlain," because I want to swap the movements and dials between them. Then I'll have a carbon fiber bracelet that matches my wedding ring, and I'll have a rotating bezel to time my breaks at work, all while appreciating my vinyl record dial on the daily.

commented on My 3 watch collection. ·

I have sold 22 watches in the last six months. My collection is constantly evolving. I just try stuff on for size, and if it doesn't wow me, or the honeymoon phase ends too fast, I just let it go. I try not to hold watches on a much higher pedestal than shirts, shoes, or socks.

I currently have 12, half of which were gifts, and I will never sell a gift.

I'm not sure I could get my collection down to seven or less (let alone three), because I really, really like the ones I have left, plus I'm not averse to buying more watches. I just imposed a rule on myself late last year - "If it doesn't get worn (and it wasn't a gift), it goes." Simple as that.

My house isn't a museum, and no one's paying admission to look at my collection. I'd rather have the money, or a different watch I will actually wear. Let someone else enjoy the watches that I don't.

P.S. - I don't have a dress watch either. The only time I dress up anymore is for funerals, and how depressing would it be to have a "funeral watch"?

I built an homage to the Tag Heuer Aquaracer GMT Batman, and I've worn it most days for about two months.

Tag Heuer Aquaracer GMT Batman and a Bulova Accutron II, then spend the other 4 grand on a nicer greenhouse for my wife.

20mm or 22mm Nato for a 21mm watch?

I just scored this 98A244 for a really good price. I don't love rubber straps, and I GIMP'ed the image on the right to see what it would look like on a blue Nato with gold hardware. I'm having a heck...

Have any of your Invicta watches broken?

Are Invicta watches as bad as people say? I love a couple of their watches (literally only a couple out of hundreds), and I'm wondering how bad they can possibly be. I don't want to buy one if it'll b...
