Oh man!! I remember @DigitalDivider had a challenge one time to wear as much watches in a day or something like 7 watches in a day lol!! I had to pack a bag to go to work and change every hour hahaha!! Hmm I might do that again ๐ป๐
It's rare i'd change watches during the day, unless there was an impromtu meal out or something and I wanted to swap watches to something more fitting. If it was pre-planned, i'd have just worn that one all day.
I've been considering trying out a weekly rotation, sticking with one watch per week, all day, all weekend.
Or perhaps I should try a 3 or 4 day rotation first...
I'm more of "what fits best for this occasion" type of guy. If I'm working all day, I wear just one watch. But if I have multiple activities/ occasions for the day, then I wear what suits the event. Yesterday was a good example. I wore my newly acquired 1970 Seiko DX with a suit for client work in the morning.
I took this photo when I had a lunch date with my lady after.
Then, for a weekly evening meetup with friends, I got out of my work clothes, wore shorts and tee, and put on my Timex Waterbury on a blue NATO.
Not a clear choice for me. It's usually one day wear for me, but when I'm near my collection it is not uncommon to swap one in after a few hours. A second switch to a third watch is rare, but I do it when either watch 2 died on me, typically a vintage with shoddy power reserve in need of a service, or when I get a new one in the post.
If Iโm off Iโll wear 3 different watches, 1 for breakfast, 1 for lunch, and guess what. 1 at dinner. This keeps my watches in use so I never forget how they feel.

It's not uncommon for a watch enthusiast to change watches multiple times a day. I usually try to stick to one, but change them as needed or desired.
I donโt have that kind of bandwidth. Iโm more of a โwear what you brungโ type of guy.
A similar poll from a day ago https://www.watchcrunch.com/Dlew919/posts/how-many-watches-do-you-wear-a-day-42405

Generally, it is almost always one watch per day. Sometimes I will do an evening switch if the occasion dictates but it is not frequent.
Multiple per day? Try per hour. GET ON MY LEVEL! ๐๐คฃ
I do sometimes! Not everyday.
I usually put a G-Shock on at night. I will get the right tool for the job if necessitated.
Every time I get out of my house I have another watch on. I love all of my watches! I want to use em as much as possible!!
Oh yeah! Several times a day, if time permits.๐๐
Iโd say two different ones per day. That seems reasonable.
I ran a similar poll a couple of months ago: https://www.watchcrunch.com/timepiece.pete/posts/how-often-do-you-rotate-through-34028

Not everyday but there are days I swap my watches based on the functionality/places I visit.
Yes. One for the office, one for the evening at home and then my trusty Marathon Navigator for the night

Apple watch for work, exercise or sleep... the rest for fun or more serious occasions. Of course that can mean several watch changes a day..
