New baby in the collection!

After a lot of saving and even more research, I managed to snap a GS I was drooling for long time, the SBGE275!๐ŸŽฏ

Having the prices falling in the secondary market was a blessing, because it brought this mint condition beauty within my budget.๐Ÿค‘

Wish everybody the same level of satisfaction ๐Ÿ˜€

Normally I'm not a big fan of GS (sorry) but this model is just so beautiful, like really beautiful!! Big congrats!! Wear it in the best of health!

ยท

Congrats. I'm a big fan of GS, and this model is great. I really appreciate the two tone of the 24 hour bezel and how it doesn't cut off at 6 and 18 but right below 6 and 18. Of course, Spring Drive is the best watch movement bar none. (Then again, I am biased.)

ยท

Congrats. Big fan of that combination.

A GS with lume ๐Ÿคฏ

ยท

Certainly drool worthy! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜€

See this watch helps me think Grand Seiko are so getting it right in customer feedback. Great watch . No a fantastic watch . Kudos to you sir .

ยท

Gorgeous watch!!! Congratulations!!!

ยท

I love when they say "mint condition" and when you get it...it IS! โœจ

Nice score, brother - what a gorgeous watch!

ยท

Very beautiful watch, Iโ€™m sure you will be happy with the finish and the smooth sweep, accurate Spring Drive.

ยท

Congrats! I scored mine last May and these are beautiful as well as functional pieces of art. They keep excellent time due to the Spring Drive technology and the dial artistry is second to none. There aren't many Grand Seiko dealers in the U.S., but we have one near where I live in Arizona. An employee there told me that of the limited number of these produced (1500, I think), only about 25 were shipped to the United States. Enjoy yours!!!

I really admire your candor @Adiplin ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™. Taste is really subjective, so no need to apologize.

Thank you very much for your beautiful wish ๐Ÿ˜Š. I can only wish the same to you.

Thanks a lot @jcRUwithMe ! I am also very fond of the two-tone bezel, it's quite unusual (and even more being made by sapphire). The place of the cut is also well thought and it doesn't cut the digits on the middle.

As for Spring Drive, it is my first one, and compared to traditional mechanical watches feels like alien technology. I have the SBGE next to my SBGP017 (Sea of Clouds) which is a tuned 9F and so far I haven't seen any significant drift between the two.

A GS with lume ๐Ÿคฏ

Indeed a rare thing @mjosamannen ! The other GS I have seen with a great lume is the SBGX341:

Very true @Chronos14 ! They seem to be incorporating customer input all the time and improve the next breed of models.

Thank you for your kind words ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thanks a lot @Pulicords ! I wish you a lot of health to be able to enjoy your piece of art. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I wonder if they shipped only 25 pieces in the US (which is a huge market), where did they ship the other 1475? ๐Ÿ™„ Japan for sure is the biggest market but again we would talk for 2/3 of the production being sold there.

ยท

I do have to admit that it is a bloody distraction, thank you for the warning @MegaBob ๐Ÿ™

What a cracker! Love the blue
