When the tail wags the dog - GS SBGP007
Hello fellow Crunchers!
Some time ago I bought a very cool deep blue rubber strap for my SBGP017 from AllWrists. The strap itself is really nice but looked lame with the Sea of Clouds. So it sat sad in its box, waiting for a better match.
Looking randomly in Japanese auction sites the other day, I saw a 2020 SBGP007 in pristine condition for a ridiculous price, with 19 minutes until the auction's end.
Immediately the rubber strap came to mine, and given the auction was half the prices listed in Chrono24, I decided to bite the bullet.
Today it arrived, and the strap found its other half, giving the SBGP017 some time to rest, and collect less scratches. 😀

Great strap - it really complements the beautiful dial! Of course, the SBGP007 itself is truly special, with it's +/- 5 seconds per year accuracy! The little gold star fits well and balances the dial.

These 9F models are really stunning, it is pity GS is not releasing more limited editions with these in the later years.
