Great looking selection, Great pics! I would just Start researching completed auctions on ebay for each of the watches you have photos of. I guarantee @Aurelian didn't pay 275.00😎
@Aurelian Do you remember the model of this Bulova? Pretty Smokin' case design!
Yes Sir Heaven, thanks for sharing the vintage beautiful timepieces specifically #wittnauer and #jaegerlecoultre . Very good deals at this shop in person thanks for sharing a website with no buying options 🤣
I still can't believe that you hiked all over Columbia in those swim trunks.
The model is a "Norman" which was very popular for Bulova in the 1940's. It is very similar to the "Arnold". The main difference is that the scrolling design extends to the lugs in the Norman. Mine is a few years older than the one pictured because the Bulova name is not applied as in the one in the shop.
@Whitesalmon is right. I didn't pay anything near that price. Even with a new crystal (glass) and some minor tinkering, I paid well less than half that amount.
Glad to hear it... I may make a suggestion to Mrs Yonder, that we are now allowed to buy watches if they appear in our dreams. Im pretty certain of the reaction I'm going to get though 😞

She owes me for taking a trip to Europe without me.

I would have loved to see that.

Prices look pretty reasonable.

I was SORELY tempted.
Sadly, I can't right now.
I know how that is.
I’ll bet when you can buy there will still be plenty left for you.

This is an annual destination for us; so it's nice to know I'm close-ish, but far enough away I can't run down every month & buy one

You gotta find comfort where you can!
Amazing. I love antique shops, but I've never come upon a pocket of actually cool watches. What a find!

The wife has made a critical error. She said if I dream of one of the watches, I should get it.

She sounds like a kind soul! Too naive to deal with a watch collector!

Oh, she owes me. She's taking a sister trip to Europe next year & I'm not allowed to go.

@DeeperBlue
Nice. How can we be sure they are genuine? This has always been an issue for me
You try them on, ask questions, ask for the caseback to be opened, compare to the Dr. Ranftt database and hope
Did they have to kick you out at closing time?
My wife would have been so annoyed as my day would have been done in there 😂
Love the PP 💙
If I was in buying mode, I would have tried on every potential purchase.

Hey, I'm just the messenger. 😉🤣
Is she mad! I have watch orgies in my dreams... can I have them all 😮
No she's not mad.

If it weren't for that, I'd be in your same boat.
You should buy that Bucherer as a investment piece. Now that it's owned by Rolex it's going to be worth triple 😂
Would have been super tempted to pull the trigger on the Bulova 🔥🔥

I was, but if there's one thing I've learned from collecting, it is this: I will likely regret impulse purchases. Always do the research first.
I was tempted, but patience & research

Wise words!
Cool place.
