I guess my current obsession really started less than 3 years ago with a £22 Casio world time purchase just for a bit of fun…. I was feeling nostalgic about a childhood watch, a simple Commodore LCD, and thought yeah a digital watch, why not? I started into G-Shocks…. budget-friendly automatics beckoned and the rest is history 😉⌚️

I had it sitting in my box on a nato until the other day. I have a bit of a love/hate thing with nato straps; I end up irritated at times that despite the comfort and look the damn watch keeps moving around unless you have it too tight 🤣The Tropic was a recent purchase and I’m thrilled with it. Smarter than the nato look, very comfortable and the watch stays in place. What more could I ask? 👏👏

It’s a great budget-friendly watch; my only little gripe is the lack of AR coating but when you get it at the right angle it is indeed a looker of a dial 💯
