My current collection- what should be next?

Personally, I'd go with the Seamaster as I like to have at least one diver, but you can't go wrong with the GS.

·

It’s not a collection without a G-Shock.
+1 on adding a diver.  nttd seamaster is a bit special alright or the new green one. Sinn u50 if the hand set appeals.

·

no time to die might be perfect, since you dont have a diver watch

·

I'd agree with a diver of some description. But the fact that you do y have one makes me think you don't like them? How about something smaller? Field watch? But a luxury one. Is an Explorer 1 too much of a cliche? Would fit well in this beautiful collection.

Thanks!  Honestly i agree, i think a diver would be best next.  I've had my eye on a sub, but hard to get and dont feel like dealing with the ADs, especially with so many great brands out there.  Just haven't got there yet i suppose!

Thanks doolittle!  I do have a CasioOak, so I'm covered there!  I'm thinking the diver is the best way to go to as well.

That's a great box of watches!! NTTD is exceptional, but if you like classics, the Seamaster Diver 300M with the white ceramic dial has all the makings of a future classic as well. The NTTD is a brilliant watch, but maybe the steel case will endure further in its appeal? If you fancy a diver, another good choice might be a Glashutte SeaQ - an astonishingly fine watch for the money.

·

First of all, you have an amazing collection, congrats.  I am also on team diver.  I've been personally looking at the Oris Aquis collection, especially with the new caliber 400s.  Having a Tudor in the collection is also a must 😀  If not a diver, a GMT would also be a great addition to this collection.

Side note - I'm rocking my Skyflake today, such an amazing watch.

·

I actually sold my Sub and replaced it with the SMP300. This is the best diver you can buy in my opinion.
I used to think only a Pelagos could take its place if they’d make one around 40mm. And then they did. And the Omega prevailed. If Tudor had kept the matte dial and the step around the indices then it may have won. But who knows if they will and if it will.

These are some of the expensive pieces I would want. But the NTTD Seamaster is a STUNNAH 🔥

Thanks so much!  For some reason, i've been on and off the Tudor BB58 train, just can't commit.  Also, yes the skyflake is spectacular.

Thanks archangel!  Are you referring to the Seamaster Great white i think it's nicknamed (white face, black bezel)?  For some reason I'm leaning towards the NTTD because it's both iconic and unique in its own way.

·

You've got a great and very individual collection there. I really like it 😍

·

Your profile pic shows an Omega Speedmaster Racing, but it doesn't show in your collection. Was that an oversight, or did you get rid of the Omega? Nice collection, BTW.

Glashutte original panomaticlunar or bvlgari octofinissimo)

Hmm I'd stay on that list. Keep pestering your AD. Other options that are kind of unique IMO

I came here to suggest the GO SeaQ and BPFF but I see you have beaten me.  Although given the rest of OP’s collection, I would suggest getting either one of these in blue.

Totally agree on blue dial/bezel for both. The SeaQ just looks incredible in blue

Blancpain 50 fathoms. That way you keep your name.

If it were me, I would go NTTD.

I just looked at his user name when I saw your post.  The Moonwatch is iconic but that white dial Speedy definitely is not.  The NTTD is just another diver with a movie tie-in.  Definitely not iconic.

To collect only icons, he’s gotta ditch that speedy and pick up a BPFF.

IMHO

Go with your gut ignore the sheep

dont get embroiled in quota’s

there are no rules, you don’t have to have a dress watch/divers watch/pilots watch or certain brands. It’s your collection not anyone else’s so do it your way or you will become a follower.

You need something that would go with a blue suit.

What do you suggest?

It is a joke here. For several weeks someone would post a stock picture of a man in a blue suit and ask if an Apple Watch was appropriate to wear with it. He would always answer his own posts and opine that an Apple watch did not, in fact, go with a blue suit. After weeks of this, it was simultaneously annoying and funny. I never understood the point.

I like what you have collected so far. I really don't know what the next logical step might be. You have dressy things and "toolly" things. What fits in with your activities? Would you fancy something in the tank/rectangle family?

·

I personally have an omega Seamaster midsize and even for a small watch its just got such bang to it, a diver def seems like the next step. someone else mentioned it but a Gmt would also be a great addition. Tudor is absolutely killing it with the BB58 and the new Pelagos. As of right now I’m a huge sucker for the Blancpain 50 fathoms with the curved looking bezel. But the omega Seamaster is just absolute class AND it’s a chronometer

·

What kind of seamaster is it?

·

Personally with the superb collection you already have put together, I think you need an iconic classic dive watch...no not the homage watch (Rolex Submariner)...

You need this...

Image

You can never go wrong with the Fifty Fathoms and you won't have to suck-up to some ridiculous AD to get one.

The sapphire bezel is just killer and as you can see, as long as you have the wrist for it at 45mm, it works perfectly as a dressy sport watch just doesn't slide under the cuff that easily (unless like me you have your tailor increase the size of your cuffs when he makes your shirts - I just had this out a bit to get a good wrist shot).

Alternatively, the JLC Polaris Memovox is a great second choice...

Image

In a whole different realm, if you want to stay within the Omega Seamaster family...then the WorldTime is a great choice for a complication...
