It really is a fantastic collection of attributes like you say! This one happens to be the regular chrono and not the flyback (which is cool, but I like it best with the all black dial, and not quite as much in the panda version).
I'm always clicking it on, thinking "I wonder how much time will pass?" or "I wonder how long this will take?"
I happen to agree. At least for me. Aside from being closer to the historical reference, I just think the 39mm wears perfectly on my wrist - plenty of presence without feeling oversized.
