Would you wear an Hublot ?

Hublot

The Hublot Big Bang series, launched in 2005, epitomizes the brand's philosophy of "The Art of Fusion," blending traditional Swiss watchmaking with modern materials and design. The Big Bang has been a playground for innovation, featuring cases made of rubber, ceramic, carbon fiber, and even sapphire, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in watch design. Hublot's bold approach to watchmaking has not only garnered a new generation of watch enthusiasts but also redefined luxury watches in the 21st century.

With its innovative designs and use of unconventional materials, does the Big Bang challenge your perception of what makes a watch truly luxurious?

I still had the same thinking as you about it before to explore a bit more what this brand do ...

·

I personally really like Hublot - I thikn a lot of impressions of the brand come from the 90s and early 2000s when they did not use in house movements. The UNICO movements are high horology - advanced. I'd much rather wear something from them than a pure homage brand.

·

I would wear one but I wouldn't buy one.

·

If I was gifted one and I could not sell it sure why not. I would not buy one with my own money. If I was force to choose one probably this one:

Hell yes even though they are not really my style.

I would, but they are way to big to wear on my 6.25 wrist

·

I haven’t seen a single design from them that appeals to me. So, no.

·

Too expensive for my taste.

If I had the income and variety of situations, sure. Technical and artistic mastery are almost always enjoyed by me. A bit ornate for daily wear, though.

·

Why this question about Hublot, because it's a trend? It's not my style as it isn't Royal Oaks, Rolex, most Omegas and so many many more.

·

Without sounding Nico Leonard, he’ll no. They are a piece of dog s***. Seriously though, over priced, not good looking and just not my taste. More of a footballer’s watch.

·

I was a huge fan of the Hublot Classic Fusion watches of the late 80s, early 90s, the Big Bang was innovative when it was first launched but existed in a financial neighbourhood that prevented me from personal investigation, now that I can afford to buy one, the design does not suit the lifestyle of an older guy pushed into retirement so the long answer is that I would not wear one, could not justify the price relative to what I am still keen to spend on.

·

No. They are ugly (in my opinion so is Richard Mille), and they have a shady history of lying about what movements they were using. Not a trustworthy company.

·

Personally I’d spend the 💷 on something else as I’m not a fan of the designs..

·

I have yet to find a design from this brand that speaks to me. Plus they are too big and ridiculously priced so it's unlikely I will ever gravitate toward this brand.

Yes that's right !

·

There’s a few I’d certainly consider, but the brand doesn’t speak to me too much, especially considering the price point and competition at that price point.

Richard Mille are frigging ugly watches indeed!
