What are your thoughts on the central power reserve complication

The central power reserve is a seldom scene complication where the power reserve is shown bang on in the middle of the dial, or there is another hand that points at a number or point that represents a certain stage in the watches power reserve

I like this watch and think it's an interesting way to address the complication.

Longines have a knack for doing things in a manner that is slightly different to other brands whilst staying quite traditional.

Nice watch.

I definitely prefer it to Grand Seiko's signature PR indicators, since they mess up the dials IMHO. This enriches it.

Although I don't know whether a PRI on a watch would cause more calm or anxiety.

I think that is the nicest power reserve indicator I've ever seen. It's unobtrusive, and still useful.

I love the idea of this complication, and was sure I would love it, tried a couple on a few weeks back while in Vegas:

Unfortunately the watch just did nothing for me. I hope they continue to implement it on other models because I really dig the complication.

I love the complication shown in this way. Does anyone know of others?

I like it enough to have bought one when they became available.

It's a novel idea.

Although, most watches already have a central power reserve indicator... ticking around the dial once a minute. Agreed - it's a little binary, but it works for me most of the time.

Better than the other power reserve indicators which tend to upset symmetry.

I like this watch a lot. I think the price, like all longines, is a bit out there. Used I would definitely buy

I always wonder how much left of my power reserve I've got, so for me big Yes, even if they would installed that hand on the bracelet with some miracle lol

Love power reserves.

Power reserve indicators are ok they provide a function so cool by me ...

Longines has done something very interesting with it here, making a watch that is still symmetrical but looks more complicated for its addition 👏👏👏
