New zenith diver

At watches and wonders Zenith dropped a new dive watch: the defy extreme diver. And I am in love! Can my afford it and won’t be able to for quite a while but I will definitely try it on. Zenith is iconic for its chronographs and it movements but it is a joy to see zenith jump back into the diver game.

It has a titanium case and can take 600meters of pressure. It is 42.5mm and has a 60 hour el primero movement. Is also has a date and runs at 36000vph.

I won’t be able to get my hands on this watch for 1-2 years as it costs $11,300 but I will try it on at my local Zenith boutique.

I hate so say this but I think this is my new grail.

What do you think about it.

Zenith is very cool. Would love to grab one of their chronos, but will likely never be able to afford one.

Interesting that the depth rating in feet matches the year that they introduced the El Primero chrono movement. Not a coincidence

·

Did they make a bracelet for it? Looks like this fabric strap passes under the watch twice adding to an already thick watch.

I own a Zenith El Primro since 2006, the problem with Zenith is their after sales support really really sucks in the US. Their service center in NJ is a joke, my watch came back damaged after their service. Luckily they were able to reverse the damage. I really like the watches Zenith puts out but the only reason I wont buy another one is their service in the US.

Love this watch (and the mainly orange one they released). Super quirky and original for the brand. Definitely something you wear for you, not for other people.

Wow, that dial is something else, stunning!
