Do you like Salmon? I do!

Since I'm going to the Longines event in Long Beach, CA on Sunday I couldn't help but get something new from Longines.

I've been wanting a dressier watch to add to the collection and was looking at the 190th Anniversary Edition watch in their Master Collection.

The AD had that and this one with the salmon dial and small seconds complication. It all came down to the size. I prefer the 38.5mm case on this reference to the 40mm case of the 190th Anniversary model.

The salmon looks almost copper in certain lighting and I like the engraved arabic numerals. This one definitely stands out when it catches the sun.

Sushi yes. Haven’t ventured into salmon colored dials yet though.

Thank you

I was looking at the Zulu time and fly back this weekend and my eye kept getting drawn to this watch. I am not in need for a dress piece, but may need to go back and have another look.

It's a beautiful watch. My AD had the Flyback and the Conquest Chrono as well, just arrived and on display. I took a look at both, but was put off by how thick they both were.

Looks wild!

Congratulations,

I do like this one a lot, especially the engraved numerals.

It will fit nicely into your collection! 👌

A beautiful watch from one of the great watch makers.

·

I didn't know they had this. 38mm is a great size for me. I'm going to the event too! Could I take a look at it then?

Of course! I'll be on the lookout for you. I've caught some of your videos about buying your Rolex. I too frequent the boutiques at South Coast Plaza.

Almost any day is a good day for a dressy watch ;-)

What a gorgeous Longines. The salmon dial with the striations and the recessed Breguet numerals...beautiful 😍. Great choice and congrats.

·

Love salmon dials but don't currently have one in the collection. This model might well be the one... I find Longines' 38.5mm designs to be a great size and, as ever, a great value prop too.

Thanks - had to break my rule of never paying over list over that one. Paid a small premium over list to a collector who was selling his. No regrets though as it is a beautiful watch.

I missed the linen dial and now if I want one it is at around £1000

I know...they shot up so fast. I was lucky, I found someone selling the linen dial for below list price. The person just wanted to get out of the watch quickly. Just keep looking...you never know when deals will pop up...they really are nice watches...

Well if you ever decide you don't need both of those Nova then you know where I am. Unless you wanted to trade for a Tribus TRI-04 but it doesn't look like your style.

·

Get the bracelet too, its beautiful

·

Lovely piece! Congratulations!

·

I currently have one:

I will definitely keep you in mind friend...I haven't sold any from the collection yet, but someday I will have to begin doing that.

I don't just like Salmon, but love it!!! Especially when done in such a classy way. Longines is such a classy brand. Love this one and the Mont Blanc Heritage as well!
