Have we reached peak lume? I’m not talking full lume dials. I’m talking about alternative lume locations where the glow has no practical benefit: crowns, straps, case backs, etc. I’ll confess that I dig a lumed crown when I first get a watch, but once I own it, I forget it’s there.

Least we forget the lumed rotor on the 50 Phantoms lol
NOPE! Haha..
Couple of super cool ones with a full lume dial (plus everything else!!):
Lol, yeah - one of my pet hates is lumed bezels. Dunno why, I just think it looks tacky. 🤔
I am going back and forth on what I want lumed. I also have questions on what happens when it stops working can it be re-lumed?
You can never have too much lume! I'm shocked at how many "Faberge egg" brands out there use sub-standard lume and charge a premium price. I prefer tritium first and foremost and would jump at the chance to find this level of illumination on a solar watch. 😎 So far this Yelang is the only one I've ever seen:

Only if you dipped the entire watch in lume chemicals and the entire watch lit up….wait that might be cool actu…
😅
I love true lumed plane on the crown that is so dope!!
Do you mean this strangeness?
I dunno. Lorier did a nice job on their Hydra Zulu.
I may be an outlier, but I enjoy the more crazy looking watches. Like this Aragon Bioluminescent

No.
@Ichibunz may beg to differ

I’m not crazy about full lume dials, but the more the better on markers, hands, bezel, crown. Love the blue lume on the Pelagos.
I’d say we have, pet hates of mine are lumed bezels, & mismatched lumed.
Now I love lume & my BB58 & when I owned my Panerai made me feel like a giddy 5yr old when they shone bright like a diamond.
There can NEVER be too much lume! I want my watch visible from the ISS.
Lume is functional but highly overrated.
I suppose a lumed crown might prevent you from putting the watch on upside down in the dark.
My Zelos Swordfish Titanium Blood Moon Meteorite lume was amazing!!!! But in standard places. But my new Lorier Astra Cosmic Blume lume is just so cool and original!!!
Check this out.
My collection is in disarray at the moment but I thought I’d take a quick lume shot of everything.
Revelot R10 Admiral Dune

, If that’s important to you……yes and you’re going to pay for it if it is that important 2U….. we all have our own “priorities”😉
Reject modernity. Embrace radium-painted watches.

I’m sure everything can be re-lumed, but modern Super-LumiNova should last long enough that it shouldn’t be a issue.
The plane on the crown is cool. What watch is this?
Tsao Baltimore Balt-Pilot Worldtimer. All the cities on the bezel are lumed too, which is mighty impressive.

Cool, I though it would be DOA in 10 years tops.
I agree with you completely on this. Whenever I am in the dark and my watch is not sufficiently illuminated, I take out my phone, turn on the flashlight, and then check the time on my watch. Problem solved.
I employ a similar strategy. But instead of just checking the time, I pull out my phone, hold the phone light over the dial, charge up the lume, put the phone away, then read the time on my now fully illuminated watch. There you go; Job’s a good’un 🥸

Genius!
In my opinion there's no such thing as too much lume!😅

I would expect nothing less from Mr. Lume!

Thanks TTB!😃👍
It will never be too much lume, just as it will never be too much cheese.
