We had a great event yesterday! Representing NorCal thanks to @Rome1234 @artpordiaz & @OmegaMan75 and from Orange County @FlatteryCamp @DanBMan! California is a pretty big place, people drove hours to support our meetup. Fortunately, we had great weather and mountain passes clear of snow.
After the main event, we continued to the after party which continued into the evening! Thanks again to One More Time for the venue and all who came to support our event here in Ventura Beach, CA.

Had such a great time at the Ventura meetup. Always love meeting old friends @FlatteryCamp and his beautiful wife Rebecca, @smallwristed, and making new, I can’t believe but appreciate those who drove from NorCal.
Got to try some watches.
There was a raffle which most of us won. Will reveal the prize later. (It’s a Watch)
Was not supposed to buy another watch, but because of the amazing deal offered by “One More Time” our venue host, I couldn’t pass off on the opportunity. It’s going to be another tough watch to explain to my wife. Will post the watch pic in #nwa
Lastly, the highlight of the evening was after party hosted by @SurferJohn and his partner Howard. Drinks, dinner, a beautiful house with a gorgeous sunset, and hanging out with amazing friends .. what a perfect day!

We continued at the stunning ocean view home of the hosts with the most @SurferJohn and the ever attentive Howard...
We played some Watch Trivial Pursuit (@smallwristed) accompanied by a California ocean sunset with cocktails...
The warmth and generosity displayed by One More Time and our Meetup host is humbling. It restores my faith that great people are worth seeking out and encourages me to continue seeking offline engagement with more of my fellow watch geeks.
Imagine hanging with smart and funny people who share a passion for watches over a gourmet home cooked meal and free flowing beverages in an ocean front setting now multiply that x10.

@SurferJohn, Rome @Rome1234, Art @artpordiaz and I cannot thank you enough for putting on such an amazing event yesterday. What a total blast we all had! It was great to see you again and to meet new Crunchers too! I am sorry we weren't able to hang around for dinner and drinks, which sounds like it was pretty amazing. Next time, we promise!
While we traveled around 800 miles round trip yesterday, the distance was nothing compared to the friendship and fun we had. Definitely time well spent. Looking forward to the next one! ❤
