Can this be an everyday watch - hiking, cycling and including the odd swim?

This is for me the ultimate Rolex. Two weeks ago I experienced this watch in the metal and on my wrist. Had a hard time giving it back to the owner ☺️ But 100k Euro is a bit (way too) steep.

commented on How many of you do spur of the moment buys? ·

The one and only watch i bought at the spur of the moment was a Swatch - one of the sistem 51 calibres. I kind of like the fact that this is the first caliber that is put together by robots an machines - no human hands. The first few weeks i wore it quite a bit bit, now it never gets and wrist time anymore. I keep it as a reminder not to buy Watches on a whim ☺️

Ultra thin watches? Too thin?

I like the ‘airiness’ of ultra thin watches. You don’t feel the watch at all. This one is a Seiko Lassale from 1981 and is 3.6mm thick (quartz). Nowad...
