How many of you do spur of the moment buys?

Currently vacationing in Hawaii. We are visiting with my young daughter so everything has pretty much been going with the flow and not really planning anything out. For example I would never want to eat spam in any other cercumstance but I passed by a mushubi stand so felt a spur of the moment compulsion to try one.

As some of you know I recently sold off most of my collection leaving only 6 watches. I have been completely content with my watches and seriously considered not buying another watch for maybe a decade, however; shortly after eating this spam I came across a swatch store I did not plan on walking upon. Long story short I walked away with this swatch x Blancpain which is a really cool color way and I love that it has the no rad symbol and it鈥檚 a no date. Had no prior plans to get this but I loved how they looked in person and you still can only get them in person. Iv never seen another swatch store so I figured it鈥檚 now or never. I also got my 1 year old daughter who first watch which she already loves, a 45$ flick flack.

How many of you have bought a watch spur of the moment without any prior plans on doing so

No sales tax on Hawaii, right? Get more watches!! 馃槅

I just happen to be vacationing in Orlando the same day they released the Blancpain, I was with a few other guys from work and we were out partying all night. We were driving by the millennium mall on the way back to the hotel, and saw the lineup and it wasn鈥檛 that bad. I got in line With a few others, and got me the yellow. Glad I did within an hour, there were hundreds of people in line.

I think I know where you bought the musabi, but I definitely know where you got the Blancpain Swatch, I missed them by a day when they first came out before we left to head back home.

We just bought our son a Sea of Storms from that Swatch store for Christmas this year. The Omega store upstairs from there is where I鈥檝e spent a ton of money in for my Omega collection.馃槀

There鈥檚 a bunch of different watch companies that have shops there. That鈥檚 the place to go shopping if you鈥檙e looking for a new watch or just browsing.

Yes me. Sort of. I was on holiday earlier this year and similarly I randomly walked passed a swatch store. I saw the moonswatch in the window and instantly thought what is this. Yep, I missed the whole hype. I had been absent from the watch world for many years. It reignited something dormant in me. I spent many hours browsing the Internet and watching YouTube catching up. My interests was constantly evolving and my budget was increasing daily. By the end of the trip, my head told me I had to think this through properly and went home with nothing. A small purchase was suddenly a big purchase for me. Fast forward about month and I had my hands on a BB58 馃槵
