It could be seen as a rip off. My opinion: this Twelve is sufficiently different from the ‘first’ one. I really, really like this watch. (First pic is pic from Christopher Wards website). Especially this color. Anybody seen this watch in the metal? Any thoughts?

The Twelve is actually a direct ripoff of Czapek's Antarctique collection. The head designer of CW and the guy who designed the Twelve worked at Czapek and then was recruited to CW where he basically cloned his former employer's product.
All integrated design watches are simmilar to the "first one". As mentioned above CW 12 is more a Czapek lookalike with Zenith bezel and AT markers.
Better question is if mentioned "first" one was really first?
I have the 36mm in steel and blue, and I’m very happy with this one.

Do you feel the same way about Genesis and Bentley? If he designed the product originally and was hired by someone else, how is he ripping anyone off if that was his design to begin with?
