IMO the only place a butterfly clasp makes sense is on a formal dress watch that is only worn rarely. Any watch meant for daily or very regular wear needs a clasp with micro adjustment.

I’m not a Citizen fan, and also don’t like oversized watches; and to me it doesn’t look too big on you. You’ve already paid for it, so I would not take a loss on it. Just keep it.

Also, I had a similar experience with my SKX and ended up using the SKX as a reminder what is too big for me to be comfortable wearing. So my SKX has its place. That Citizen may be the same for you; your max size watch. 🤔
