Why Omega is the greatest watch company
Hi all. Just received a knock at the door and opened it to find this. I cheekily emailed Omega a few days back saying how I loved Omega and the Aqua terra world timer was one of my grail watches, and pretty please dis they have any Omega branded swag a poor peasant like me could have pretty Please? The lady was very nice and I received a notepad, pen, and a 'WE MEASURE" keyring. Yet another reason Omega have my heart. They genuinely do care. This is brilliant and I'm a fanboy now. I will be rebranding soon (I hear the @Omeganut handle should be available in a week or so). Nothing can make me part with this. Unrelated topic anyone have an SKX013 they'd like to swap?

That's pretty cool - I admire your initiative to make the request. Omega is one of my favorite brands, and I currently have more Omega watches in my collection than any other single brand. Of my 7 Omegas, only 2 were purchased from my AD, and the only swag I got was a Speedmaster poster which I have hanging outside my home office.
I have a Omega Aqua terra world timer, and a couple of vintage Omegas. The omega customer service once sent me a nice email one time thanking me for being a good customer. The mail said something along the lines of .. "please tell me what else can I help you with". To which I replied with pictures of my watches attached, that I waned to be on the "waitlist" for a snoopy. I did not hear from this customer service person in months, so I wrote back again 2nd. time with same pictures etc asking to be put on their list for a snoopy. Nothing. It's been almost a year now, and still nothing.

Exactly. I couldn't even find an email address for Rolex customer service. Guess the riff raff don't deserve the ability to contact them, and here's Omega just giving it away. It's genius really. The pen and notepad probably cost them about £10 to make (it's branded UMA. Pen nerds does that mean anything?). So for £10 they've pretty much bought a customer for life
Big ask to swap the Omega version of a Blankety Blank chequebook & pen (younger viewers and those outside the UK will need to Google that) for a Seiko SKX 🤣
Omega is a fantastic brand in so many ways. My SMP300 is my go to travel watch now, as it replaces my Breitling Colt Aeromarine.

Not sure if it’s enough to be considered the greatest, but the Omega boutiques, wherever I have gone, have always and without fault treated me as if I am a valued customer. It’s the reason I own 3 Omegas today. This compared to the literal eye roll I got from a Rolex AD sales associate when I asked to be put “on the list” for a black dial Milgauss.

I love it that you got some nice swag from Omega. I love Omega because my wife got me the most beautiful chronograph that had been my grail for such a long time, for our 21st wedding anniversary.

I can confirm that Omega has always been super generous with their swag. Years ago I worked at an AD of many, many brands and we had a stock room of branded gifts. (That room was AWESOME) Patek wallets, Ulysse Nardin moleskin notebooks, JLC hats, Breguet jewelry travel pouches, etc etc. Omega always sent the most stuff and encouraged us to give them away to current and potential customers. I still have some of those things but one of my favorites is an Omega silk scarf I tie to my purse.
When they charge as much as they do, the marketing budget is pretty healthy, evidently!
Nice. The only swag I got, was from GS. A tie pin. I like it, but rarely wear ties :)
The Omega boutique in my area is great. Great customer service, and mostly genuine watch nerds who work there. Very patient with people in the store, too.
my dad did the same thing! He told them that his son is a huge fan of omega and all things speedmaster, and they sent me a pen, notebook, an HAT and a handwritten note. It totally cemented omega as my favorite brand even moreso than before. I wear my hat all the time and cant wait till i can get my speedy someday 👍
Sadly no brand swag ever! I gave a Marathon GSAR to my brother this year and he got a hat, pen, notebook... maybe more stuff. I love Omega because they make great movements and beautiful watches. IMO GS & Omega are the leaders in these departments.
Similar to others, but I have always been a welcome browser at local and abroad Omega ADs. Always answer questions and never get the snobbery or eye rolls I have at other (COUGH rolex) places. Cool swag for just asking though.

GS sent me a personalised pouch, a pen with a platinum insert and a custom notepad... without me asking. i only have 1 watch from them and will surely add more, eventually
