Peeps, it is entirely possible that my attempt at the one watch challenge may be at an end. It is my understanding that one must wear their chosen watch, every day, and no other watch. Today, I fear that I may be knock knock nockin on Heavens door (I'm not dramatic, you are). I have not left the house at all today, not have I worn my watch at all today. I feel that it would be dishonest and dishonourable of me to just slap it on for the wrist check, so I submit to the council for appeals. Oh mighty @Aurelian, does this spell the end for little ol' Scooby's run? Or is there something in the fine print that allows me to carry on seeing as I have worn no other watch?

On the plus side, you're not a kook that feels the need for a watch while indoors lounging around. However, the bizarre guilt preventing you from merely complying with the letter of the rules will surely be your undoing.
Why did you admit to a default?

First thing, I am not "mighty." I just sit here and type "Jump" into my computer and some people respond "How high?"
Giving clues is so last year.
I suggest that you consult a professional, @JBird7986 , to help you through the rules and penumbras of rules. His opinion isn't binding, but it's not nothing.
say 10 hail marys and 5 our fathers. Then beg for mercy again.
A honest person deserves a second chance….
As long as no other watch or strap combo as adorned your wrist it’s fine by me 👍🏻
I am worried that this horological guilt is a misdirect. Please tell me I don’t need to worry about what’s in your basement freezer. 😉

Sorry to say, @Scooby, I don't think you'd like my opinion all that much. Per @Aurelian's initial #1wc post, the rules state:
Pursuant to Rule 2, "Every day you must post a photo of your watch on WRUW." As such, this rule specifies that you must post to the What aRe yoU Wearing thread on a daily basis. Under the legal theory of Expressio unius est exclusio alterius (literally meaning, "the expression of one thing is the exclusion of the other"), because failing to wear a watch means that no WRUW post can properly be made, this rule effectively requires that you wear a watch daily, regardless of what you are doing. By acknowledging that "I have not left the house at all today, not [sic] have I worn my watch at all today", you have acknowledged your failure to comply with the requirements and dictates of Rule 2.
Additionally, while Rule 4 appears at a glance to be a suggestion by virtue of the use of the term "may", a further reading of the rule indicates that its function is prescriptive, and that the term may is not intended as a suggestion in this case, but a requirement. The phrase "you may only wear one watch during the challenge" in conjunction with the requirements of Rule 2 indicates that you must wear a watch during the term of the challenge, and that only one watch may be worn for its duration.
As such, IMHO, there can only be one conclusion:
That said, this is only my opinion, and as noted above, @Aurelian is the ultimate finder of fact in this matter.
P.S.: Apologies to all for the delay in this post. I was attending my grandmother's funeral today. It has been a rough one.
Oh bugger, a no watch day. You should have rung me 😔

Sorry for your loss. Nothing replaces a grandmother.

Thank you for your kind (and accurate) words. Things like this do help to keep everything in perspective though -- these shiny trinkets that we enjoy and have fun with are wholly unimportant in the grand scheme of things.
No Scooby!! 😭
