Suggestions pls (also an *I'm not dead* post

Alright I'm back. It's been about a year but I'm back full time now. If you've never met me on here before I'm an annoying little british twat who will somehow always bring CWC into a conversation. After me, @DeeperBlue, @Stricko (and two lovely other people who I cannot remember their usernames for the life of me) went to a watch fair in Brum last year, and I got my hands on a CWC G10 (read about that here.https://www.watchcrunch.com/Scooby/posts/cwc-g10-review-25769 Iwore nothing else for about 6 months straight, and I called it quits. Nothing else in my watchbox excited me anymore, and every review I watched or read I thought 'meh. I still prefer the G10'. So I sold the lot. Everything. 15 watches down to 3 (I don't count the Swatch or the f91w) I had Vostoks, Timex's, Seikos, and Swatches, and they all went. The only bits I kept were my first Swatch, the G10, an SNXS (which I felt I couldn't give away due to being a rescue from @GasWorks donkey sanctuary. Selling it just didnt feel right) an f91W and a Baltany my good friend Rob gave me for my 18th (which they are wicked BTW. Seriously try one. It's worth it just for the sapphire crystal alone.) Everything else went. And apart from the Microbrand fair and buying a Hamilton Khaki pilot Aviation pioneer (in the same weekend no less) I was done. Then one night I was innocently browsing ebay, when I was suddenly and deliberately attacked by the algorithm of the empire of eBay (sorry I've been on a war movie binge). Anyway long story short I've bought a Mini turtle. I've been wearing it all week and I'm really enjoying it. The Uber compact lug to lug of 43mm (also can some mathematician please explain that to me. How can you have a case of 42mm and a lug to lug of 43. Its not a circle and each of those lugs are definitely bigger than half a mm. Wtf David Blaine) means it wears really well on my 6 inch wrist (which is the main reason I wasn't a huge diver guy. Everything was 46mm or above). So now I'm back and I've got a diver, I'm look at getting another, especially as summers on the way. I've looked at the SKX013 and I'm half tempted by it, but does anyone know of any divers with a 45mm lug to lug (or lower) under 500 squid?

Welcome back. I'm glad to hear the SNXS has survived the cull. A donkey is for life, not just for Christmas

·

I'm sorry to hear about your relapse but take each day as it comes and maybe you can return to the joy of not collecting watches.

Hey Adam, welcome back. Big fan of CWC but never got one bec of the fixed lugs. Re dive watches with a 45mm lug to lug, check out the Lorier Neptune. It’s vintage styled with really good dimensions and a passionate couple founder. I’m not very big into microbrands but I keep hearing good things about them so they must be doing something right.

Welcome back, I always did like your taste.
