Thoughts?

Just put some money down on this watch from a local micro brand. Felt like I needed to support local and this is the first of theirs that really looked unique. No experience with the brand so can’t say anything beyond that. Any thoughts regarding the design?

I grew up in Cincinnati, so I like to try to support this brand and have bought a couple watches from them. I can say they are very responsive and offer great customer service. I have one of these Concourse models on pre-order (the burgundy one). I really like the Art Deco inspired look, and unique design, but I'm a little concerned how it will wear, and how the proportions will look on wrist. It also might be a bit blingy with all the polished case elements. I also wish it had a seconds hand. But I'm interested to see it in person.

I like it,it's different from the normal, but not too out there to be weird. Love the case and with the face a bit retro, artdeco and I bit of mash up(in a good way) i do like that style of bracelet, got a few vintage ones like that. Certainly a looker, unusual and a talking point. Of course it might look different on wrist, they always do. But I'd wear it so it's a 👍👍 from me.

The lugs are…blockier than I prefer, but it’s for sure interesting. Overall, I’d say it’s a very interesting looking watch. As much as I prefer vintage and classic designs, I love that people are out there trying new things.

Not my style, but the company makes a quality product and are great to deal with.

Man, I really like the face and the way the numbers look, but that case seems quite large for that dial size. Just my 2 cents.

·

Beautiful design. I like it.

·

Wow! Very slick.

·

I used to wear one similar to that while on the air during the nightshift at WKRP.

·

I like the design a lot. I'd consider one in the future for sure.

Love um!!!

It's mad drip!! Like the youth would say it 😅

·

I’m a little concerned about the dial to case ratio as well, but we’ll see in June when it ships. Thanks for the input fellow crunchies. Or is it crunchers…crunchi?

Mad lit? Straight fire, bro?

Got a 8 year old in the house that is to cool for school lately. Getting influenced 😅

I’m 20.

I can figure out the meaning through deductive reasoning, however, those phrases are absent from my general vocabulary.

I haven’t many friends in case you’re wondering 😂

I really appreciate the strong architectural look. I use to reflexively support local businesses but now when possible I evaluate the owners on a case by case basis and sadly have discovered a few that I wasn't so enthused about supporting. Here at WindUp I met some guys from my hometown for the first time who really had a pretty unpleasant vibe. That old caveat of the dangers inherent in meeting your heroes.

You don't need many friends just a very few good ones 😊

I really like the pistachio dial model, but it looks like the minute hand extends beyond the minute track, which makes it look a little funny to me. They have some really nice looking watches though and they aren’t priced too bad.

This design is based on the old clock that used to be in the concourse of the Union Terminal train station in Cincinnati. The hands, dial, minute track, and even case shape, are pretty much copied from that clock.

As someone with family in Cincy, they are on my radar. I emailed them to see if they do tours, but never heard back. I like what they have to offer.

This saddens me, but I know how you feel. A single story may be overlooked, but if more than one, it makes me concerned. I love supporting local businesses, but they do have to act in a way that doesn't make me regret it. I wonder if your friends would ever consider doing business with them in the future. That would speak volumes.

I can appreciate your wanting to help a local biz. If you like it, all that matters. Enjoy!
