This dial configuration with hash marks but no numbers along the outer edge is seen only on the 36mm version. 41mm DJs dials with this dial all have numbers and hash marks.
Any sort of tarnishing or discoloration on Rolex's white gold (proprietary allow) fluted bezel is a red flag that the watch isn't authentic, IMO.
It's hard for me to see the dial clearly as the crystal is rather smudged but Rolex's fluted motif dials exhibit a sunburst effect that spans alternating trapezoids in the motif. If your friend can't see a sunburst effect, that'd be another red flag.
Also the hands look to be a bit to chunky (wide) to my eyes.
