Only one I used was about five years ago, and I was super impressed. I bought a £70 Parnis watch from mywatchcode based in China. After a few months it stopped working. mywatchcode paid for the return postage, repaired it, and sent it back within a month. I thought that was incredible service
I have. Picked up my Tudor BlackBay 58 in spring 2021 and, fresh from the box, it was running fast 8 seconds per day, quite off COSC specs.
immediately brought it back to my AD who acknowledged the issue and shipped the watch back to sunny Switzerland shores. Came back a month later at zero cost for me and has been running fine since. Job done
Yes. My Aristo Flieger with SW-200 has gone back twice in a year (I had to pay shipping). Once for a reverser gear and another issue I don't remember, the second time it just stopped. I still like the watch a lot, it makes me wary of that (supposedly) bomb-proof movement though.
I've had to send in multiple Tudors/Rolex for running outside of COSC parameters. Unfortunately, it takes several weeks to months for them to get it back to you. I’ve had to send in a Yacht-Master 37, Heritage Black Bay 41 & Black Bay 58 925. About to send in my Grand Seiko SLGH005 with its 9SA5 Hi-Beat movement because it’s running way fast. Anywhere from +9-13seconds a day. It only stays within spec in one position but even then it’s +6 a day.
Yes. A pre-owned Speedy; the reset pusher fell off and I found it, which is the really amazing part of the story. Sent it to Omega, they repaired it, did a complete service to include hands and a new hesalite crystal, and sent it back in a very nice box. They also included the old parts (yay, spare crystal!) Despite being pre-owned, it was all done under warranty and at no charge. Sooner than they estimated. One VERY happy camper.
I’ve had my Oris Big Crown Pointer Date now for 27 months. It comes with a two year warranty, but if you register the watch with Oris they give you an extra year. I must have the worst Sellita SW-200 on the planet because the watch has been sent back for service twice now for the same issue. The rotor sticks when hand winding the watch. I can feel it spinning with each turn. Plus, the stickiness continues when wearing the watch as the rotor is incredibly loud. I think it’s an issue with the ball bearings. The watch is currently in Boston getting serviced for the second time. I’ve been without it 6 of my 27 months of ownership.
Started as a quartzbro goofing on the mechanical snobs, wrote for thetruthaboutwatches.com, and lately started finding forgotten familial vintage watches in need of love.

It is rare <knocks on wood>. The last time was my original Black Bat 41. The pip broke and or just fell out. Tudor did a great job quickly repairing
Yes I did. The problem is that since it was an international warranty, the freight charges and VAT payment didn't make it cost free exactly.

Not yet and hopefully never 🤞
Yes, several times. Twice on my Longines and recently on my BB GMT.
I’m about to on my G-Shock, the module is defunct: analog and digital not syncing.

Yes when I had my TAG chrono serviced. I used Luxury Watch Repairs in Hatton Garden. It wasn’t right and the watch went back til it was
I bought a Seiko and immediately handed it over to have the date wheel adjusted for alignment. Got it back in a week's time with perfect alignment!
I've had some cases

Yes.
Those 2 were the only issues I've ever had with any watches. Both chronographs. Both Breitling. Soured me on the brand.

Very rarely has it happened, but a couple times it did were a pain in the butt for sure.

Nothing from a new purchase - but I got great service from a watch dealer when the vintage santos I purchased was not working well.
Only once but it was a DOA so I don't think that really counts.
