Falling back in love with the Longines
This one has been sitting in the watch box for the past few months to the point where I was considering moving it on. And then as temperatures dropped it’s come back onto the wrist. A perfect winter watch. Anyone else have a winter watch?

Looks good! My watch on leather go in hiding during the summer and come out to play during the winter.
Great watch, great photo! Sadly when winter finally hits here in Canada, does not look like that and a nice watch would be totally obscured by the need for warm gloves. I generally will wear some watch with a leather strap

Make sure to be in wide angle mode, not portrait.
Other than that, it depends on the phone, because the blur is added artificially by post-processing algorithms.

I really like that ETA Valjoux 7751, and think Longines has one of the best dial/hands/case for it. Several times I thought about picking that one up. Nice photo 🍻

I LOVE the Master Collection, beautiful piece you have! I have always wondered, if it sits for a while, isn't there a lot to reset once you get it going, with the calendar pointer date, etc.?
But I digress... my Aqua Terra with the dark grey dial seems too "heavy" for summer, so inadvertently it will get a TON of wear in fall/winter, but this was not on purpose at all. What do you all think?? Can it work in summer??

I had worn it from time to time in the last few months, I thought the same when I first bought it but actually it takes only a couple of minutes to get all set up. I love your AT! I’ve never seen that version before, one of the best I’ve seen!

I don't have winter watches since I live in a tropical country. But I do travel to countries with winter during winter so, yeah, another thing to think about relating to watches. Damn.

Heck of a piece. I sort of do, but I’m thinking of getting a Seiko diver with a winter themed dial; either an “Antarctic” Seiko Monster or the SBDY109 Frost miniturtle.
