AI generated watches [Part 2]
I prompted Midjourney to design a Speedmaster Inspired by the X-Wing from Star Wars. This is the result after a couple rounds of blending and prompt adjustments to preserve the Speedy's DNA. I think integrating a rebel alliance logo could've worked well. But on the other hand I like the subtlety of it.

Helium escape valve for the win.
This is fantastic. Keeping with the Star Wars aesthetic, what if you did a watch with the hour hand in green (Yoda's short saber) and one in red (Sidious' saber). Or Ahsoka's dual wielding Clone Wars sabers.
Also, you might think about turning these watches into reality. I'd be down to buy...a lot.

Every attempt at an AI created watch I've seen has been a hot mess.
This is no exception.
Spelling errors and extraneous/wrong text aside. It is pretty awesome. Fix those, put the simple logo/name at three and you have the coolest Speedmaster in a while.
Looks great on a superficial artsy fartsy level….. but I think the photo really highlights the limitations on AI generated content and it’s illusion of alignment with reality. It looks like a combination of traits with no understanding of what is appropriate or even makes sense. Thanks for posting. This makes me wonder about when I ask ChatGPT about subject that are outside of my domain of expertise.

Despite tremendous progress in the last months/years, AI is still very limited when it comes to generating tangible designs. It's pretty much incapable of working with text and hasn't developed an understanding of function just yet.
But I'm still having a blast generating ideas in minutes that I would take hours to create myself. Its just entertainment at this point, these softwares have a long way to go before they could start competing with designers.
Lop off that thing at 10 o'clock, put a Rebellion logo on the caseback & I would buy it.
I am so done with over the top Disney designs and would love a good IYKYK line of Star Wars related items.

That's a lot better than AI rendered watches I've seen previously. It actually has the correct number of markers!
