I’ve seen several car posts in various watch groups. Many people I know in the car community are also drawn to watches.
I’m now getting into bikes and I’m curious to see what watch you wear when riding. I personally love the Breitling Top Time and plan to buy one when I get my license next year.

I haven't ridden in years but I love the Top Time Deuce!
So, depending on what or how you ride, wearing a watch is often not possible or even a good idea. I ride bikes and my jackets and or gloves make it impossible to wear a watch, if I want to be properly protected. If you just wear casual clothes its different. Having said that , there isnt really a watch for motorbikes, you can wear anything you want. If you ride a vintage bike you may want a vintage or vintage looking watch but its purley for the look. The Deus x Breitling is just pure marketing, I have loads of Deus clothes and caps , and if i had the money would maybe buy one, the black/white version. But, probably wouldnt ride wearing it very often. Also, the idea of a chronograph watch to time yourself is a bit pointless, by the time you take your hands of the bars anf find the pushers , youve lost all accuracy. Of course , nearly every manufacturer has made a watch, years ago Ducati had branded watches made by Tudor. Bell & Ross have just released a ‘ bike ‘ watch, cool looking all black thing. Ive seen quite a few casios strapped around the handle bars.
This is what i wear last sunday, but mostly i look at my motorbike display, which is digital and have the clock.
Great watch Mike.
I have the Triumph version. Luv it.
However would never wear it riding. That’s just me.
My choice it either my Timex Expedition North Field solar or my G Shock.
Cool looking watch
The new Deus from Breitling is a "looker" too.
Normally it is just whatever I have on that day, except I avoid the clunky crap like dive watches (a good idea anyway) because it is uncomfortable and doesn't fit nicely under a jacket cuff or glove gauntlet.
For a longer or group ride, it's usually a Casio F-91W because it weights nothing, takes up no space, is comfortable, and draws no attention. As @nawirby states, the bike has a clock.

You can tell I’m a beginner!
The jacket I picked out will allow me to wear a watch underneath, but I suppose the gloves may make a watch uncomfortable.
I definitely don’t think the Chronograph function would get much use while riding, I just love the look of this watch. I’m not even sure what Deus is, but I suspect that they make motorcycle clothing. I just liked the Seagull version of this and found out that the Seagull was a copy of this, and now I have to have one. But unlike the other chronographs that I’m into, this one definitely seems more motorcycle inspired rather than automobile inspired. I’m not sure why.

I didn’t even realize they had different versions! Is there a website that explains all the versions of the Top Time?
What Triumph do you ride? I’m looking at them myself. My father-in-law has a Bonneville

I just picked up an F-91W for work, what a great watch! The Chronograph is as thick as a diver I’d assume, so I’ll have to try it on under a jacket and all. May have to go with something very thin if I wear anything at all
I seen Breitling is doing a triumph watch looks great 😎 I wear all my watches on my bike not at the same time haha
yess, great choice. i always thought so too. i can see this fits well with lets say a cafe racer bike
Moisture can be an issue for vintage watches… but modern divers are totally fine 😊👍🏼
I dont, I put it in a pouch in pocket. Buddy had his hand "degloved" once from a watch on his wrist when a car hit him.
Here's mine though! 🤙
If the jacket sleeves don’t scratch your watch, the gloves will

nice ride
Wife: «As long as our children need us, you will no way go anywhere by motorcycle 😤🧐💪!»
Well, .... 🤷🏻♂️ ... you know ... wifes 🤷🏻♂️ ... but 🚴♂️
>6000km/year
You see, I like wearing AppleWatch on my bike.
I ride a motorbike (for fun) and wear any of my watches. I don't tend to go for my chrono's for timing, as my gloves cover it, plus I'm too old and slow nowadays to need to 🤣
Me too! 😂👍🏼
No pics of my bike with a watch but this is my main ride nowadays
I think car guys and watch guys just have the same high level of appreciation for well-made, well-tuned machines. I love watches...and drive THIS beauty
around as often as I can. 😎
Whatever it is that I'm wearing that day 🤣

Love the bmw boxers man, they sound 🤌

Same...they have a look, sound and feel that is totally unique.
I've had a bunch of bikes and this one has been my favorite. I had a 70s ( I think it was a '75) R75 a few years ago. I regret selling that one.
I don't usually wear a watch when riding, because there is a clock on the display and I wouldn't be able to see a watch beneath the jacket and glove anyway. I did check the time on my watch once on a quiet highway, more for laughs than anything else, but it's not really confidence-inspiring and definitely not safe to take your left hand off of the handlebars while doing 120 km/h, which, for my 125, is Vmax. I'm not going to do that again. I usually wear my Lambda LCD Quartz if I wear a watch, because it's worth basically nothing and tells the time once the gloves come off if I plan to make a stop.
A motorcycle does make for a good background though...

You can view on #breitling website https://www.breitling.com/au-en/watches/top-time/
This has a Bonneville engine too.
I feel like a I am sent from REC’s market department today. Saw that they had 50 % off on selected items. One of them is their TTT ICON 1000. Built with parts from said vehicle. A Feature with the watch is that you can change position of the crown for comfort when driving your motorcycle.

Yup that's true, R75 is a cool bike, saw it only once in the wild on PCH highway in Cali while I was riding a r-ninet urban GS.
Whatever watch I wear it’s usually something a little thinner for my jacket to zip over and more robust for the extra shaking and vibrating that’s going to happen.
Not a specific bike watch though.
Luckily we’re having a warmer than average November and I’m still able to ride. This is in Calgary Canada. So normally we’d have the bike packed up for the winter already.
Peace.

Deus is “ Deus ex Machina “ they build bikes and other stuff but mainly sell clothes with a bike, surf ,beach vibe. Look them up, they have shops with cafes/restaurants all over the world.
