I’ve owned watches from my early teenage years on.
Swatches and other cheaper quartz options like Timex and early Casio etc, then grew into a few more mechanical watches, however, never more than one or two at a time until a couple of years before Covid hit.
So. I had such a crappy experience from a local AD buying the watch in the picture SSK001 that I haven’t been interested in wearing it since the first...
Whatever watch I wear it’s usually something a little thinner for my jacket to zip over and more robust for the extra shaking and vibrating that’s going to happen.
Not a specific bike watch though.
Luckily we’re having a warmer than average November and I’m still able to ride. This is in Calgary Canada. So normally we’d have the bike packed up for the winter already.
Thx. Honestly it was a gamble. Saw it in Kickstarter. And after I irdeted it noticed a couple if utube reviews. It's pretty beautiful in person and unlije anything else I own.
The owner/manufacturer actually offered to alter the dial to make it a more accurate read but I think it's plenty readable as it is.
