Any experience with Christopher ward?

I'm looking at CW and have been eyeing the under 38mm watches, like the Sandhurst S2. Does anyone have experience with those models on smaller wrists?

Thanks in advance

I have a C65 Dune, which shares the same case. This is what the case looks like on my 7" wrist.

38 you will be fine at any size wrist except for maybe 10 inches... 😂?

Heres a 36mm on a 6.5" for reference

I'm like a 6" wrist. I just want to be sure that it would work. since the watches are fantastic

I have the C63 Dune and it wears fantastic.

Small watches are the next big thing. Can't wait.

You're good. Same can be said for larger stuff too, depending on statement or aesthetic you are going for. For most as long as there's no lug overhang, or it's a pancake/puck style watch head 40-42mm is usually ok to.

I occasionally like to poke the haute crowd with HUGE L2L/diameters too 😂. Like 50mm plus...🤏🏻.

Back OT, 36-40 and 20mm will ALWAYS fit 96% of the population, YMMV.

I have a C65 Cranwell series 2 same case as the Sandhurst I believe. Wears perfectly on my 160mm wrist. It’s a great size on just about any size wrist.

I have a 6 in wrist and no 38mm or 36mm watch has ever looked bad! And CW make great watches! If it's something you really want def consider it and Lorier in that price range!

I absolutely love it. If I didn't have the watch sickness it would be a perfect contender for a "one watch" person.

The Dune combines sporty and dressy really well, particularly with the high polish indexes, sunburst dial. The case has a lot of brushed surfaces, that help keep the appearance of scratches to a minimum, while not being as "toolish" as a bead blasted finish.

Some days I think about selling pretty much everything but or or two mechanicals and my digitals, and when I think about that the Dune is always one of the mechanical watches I plan to keep. It has replaced my white Sealander auto as my favourite GADA watch.

Here’s an old WRUW of my Dune GMT in a similar 38mm case. I have a 6.1 in/155 mm wrist.

Well that's a resounding endorsement! It gets universally great reviews as far as I can tell. I have friends with various CW but the Dune looks like being my first one. Not till Christmas though. I'm undecided even then though on the finish. I'm even considering bronze as I don't own a bronze watch and I like the petina. Decisions, decisions!

My Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 38mm has quickly become my favorite watch

·

I’ve had a close watch friend with the first gen sandhurst. The sizing works on a lot as it’s very balanced shorter lug and light. Think 38mm Hamilton khaki but shorter lugs. The bracelet is incredibly well done for the price point.

38mm case size should be fine for any wrist

2nd watch I brought was a C60 sapphire. Absolutely love the CW style. Comfortable to wear and always invokes a conversation

Just wanted to add I moved on my CW Dune, I'm not sure why as it was a great looking watch, I am wondering if I should have gone for that Sandhurst instead, the subtle differences seeing your pic is making me want one

I have WT ( 2 different models) 3 Aquitaines, 3 Sealanders (which are now available in smaller sizes 39,36 and they also have a really nice small model that is called Dune. They are far and away my favorite watchmaker. Many are even COSC certified

I have a C65 Royal Marines Commando which is actually based on a 38mm Sandhurst. Personally I have a small wraist but as I like to wear it on a Nato strap, this actually fits really well
