I'm looking at two super pretty Vintage Omega watches

Omega Seamaster Electronic Chronometer

And

Omega Geneve Megaquartz 32Khz

Is there anything to look out for with these watches?

Vintage is a good minefield until the ticking stops and wallets explode....

The square dial looks amazing! But I know nothing about these watches, I'm not convinced I've ever seen either of them before.

@Porthole once said, get the mile away from f300 watches.

Even tho this beefed up Seamaster looks absolutely gorgeous, I tend to believe him. So stay away from this watch.

run in the opposite direction and never look back…

what to consider - everything. The outdated tech, the lack of parts, the lack of anyone who could fix it (properly), the cost of repair, the high turnover of batteries… I’d go on, but if you’re still reading this and considering them still I can’t persuade you and you can hopefully pick a nice one without issues.

Okay I see, yeah it might not be worth then but they are both gorgeous. I will probably look into some other then. Thanks :)

I had to work hard to find someone to repair my Accutron. Believe it or not, there are still people/shops out there that can repair tuning forks, not going to be cheap but far from impossible.
