What watch would Lara Croft wear?
Thanks to the latest in a long line of movie appearences (for both), we know now that the esteemed Dr. Indiana Jones goes for the Hamilton Boulton when he reaches into his closet for a watch. In that it's old-fashioned, quaint, a bit cheesy, and stylistically simple it does seem to suit him.
This begs the question: what then would fiction's other favorite "archeologist" Lara Croft wear?
My initial instict was something like the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms: expensive and luxurious, but in a timeless 'old money' way; utilitarian and versatile, yet durable enough for everything from propelling off cliff faces and undersea cave-diving.

It has this old world elegance with contemporary sports field watch style which I can see Lara sporting.
I think it'd be an heirloom piece. A gift from her late father. Something classy and expensive like a 1960s Air King or an OP.
Based solely on seeing the first movie on television last century or so, I'm thinking a Cartier Tank when about Croft Manor and a G-Shock out in the field. She could afford two watches.

I came here to post Gshock. I've loved every tomb raider game since the first one I played on the ps1. She's rugged as hell I feel like she would want a no nonsense GADA, bullet proof watch like a gshock or maybe a Suunto.

I can only see her in G-Shock.. with Bluetooth capability. When she is out on the town before her adventures some sort of Cartier.
She's a rich adventuring type. I want to say Cartier, but it's probably a custom Richard Mille.
