Bulova Accu Swiss mechanical movement (ETA 6498) - Couldn't pass up on a Swiss Mechanical Bulova.
Once again, I was just scrolling online (half asleep) , and I saw this baby pop up... so I drove out to Los Angeles (30mins) and picked it up. 😎🤙

Wow, nice looking watch. I never would have associated a 6498 with Bulova, especially with an Accutron Logo. I think of more advanced high frequency quartz and electrostatic drive, top end Miyota labs when I think of those brands. Regardless, cool looking dial.
Overall a beautiful 😍 Bulova! The stepped small seconds and lacqured numerals look outstanding. The cream dial, larger 12 and art deco lugs 😍. So much to appreciate with this beauty. Nice find 👏🏽

Those Accu-Swiss models are really cool. I had one for a brief period of time in rose gold. I wish they spent more time crafting this line instead of dumping it but I think they were obtained by Citizen around that time, which may be the reason for the downfall. A local watch shop in my area actually sourced a whole mess of NOS models, boxes & all. Glad to see them getting some spot light.

Yeah, same here, I personally have never ran into an ETA movement Bulova, that's why I had to have it. 😅
