I forgot my watch today.

I was in such a rush to get out the door this morning that I forgot to grab my watch. I realized it after I got to the parking lot at work and checked my wrist for the time. I keep looking down at my bare wrist expecting to see my Retro Pilot on my wrist and then I sulk. It's driving me nuts. Have you ever forgotten to wear a watch? What did you do?

Yeah, once. I ride back to my home to get one.

·

Happens ! If your near a store a cheap Casio might get you through the day, might !

·

I found the time elsewhere, for those two or three times that checking the time is actually warranted and not a bored amusement.

I've heard that one can use a cell phone to tell time, should you have one of those and know how to do it.

·

It depends how far from home I am and/or hiw much I am in a hurry/late. In any case not wearing a watch feels like I am naked aldough I am the only one noticing🤣

·

Last week the microadjust on my falcon popped off and the spring bar was no where to be found. It was an awful day. Godspeed to you, my friend.

·

Great excuse to get a new one during lunch!! 🍻

Hmm… maybe I’ll forget my watch tomorrow…

·

Seems like a backup watch in your EDC bag is needed haha.

Hope you don't feel to exposed without it

·

Head to Walmart on your lunch hour and buy either a Casio or a Timex in the under-$50 range. Both companies have good selections in that price range.

·

Ooh ok deep breaths everything is going to be all right

·

Stay in the car and weep for a good 30 min 😭#KeepingItReal

·

It's like forgetting your belt. I feel naked without it.

I wear small watches and just don't take them off unless to shower. Light and comfortable and hardly know it's there.

·

I feel more naked without a watch than I do without my cell phone 😂

·

Buy one in my break

It happens to me once a year. I usually go back home and get one. If I’m really desperate and far enough away from home I’ll go buy one.

I've forgotten my phone, wallet, and watch before. I thought everyone did. Am I the only one?

Wow! that's really disturbing my friend. You sure you're alright? 😂

and this discussion is quickly evolving into an "I need another watch" thread. 🤣

Isn't any thread here?

·

I nipped over to the jewellers and bought another one! It wasn't an expensive one but it 'filled the gap'.

·

If I leave the house without a watch, I honestly feel like I've forgotten to put trousers on.

·

This reminds me a bit of the retracted Hodinkee article about the dude on the way to the hospital with his pregnant wife that forgot to wear his watch. He went back to the house to grab his Rolex. Got a lot of, some would say unwarranted, grief over it in the comment section.

I did not read the article but I saw the headline. I don't think I would have gone back. I didn't go back on a lesser occasion so I wouldn't go back on something as important as the birth of my child.

Today, I did remember to wear my watch.

This is pretty much an iPhone 5S on a strap.

Apparently I am the only one who forgets all these things. Sigh...

I'm pretty sure I'm alright. Right? I think...

·

This happened to me. Now I leave one at work for emergencies.

·

I feel your pain, had I of read this last night.... This wouldn't have happened today!

On the bright side I'll use it as an excuse to buy something nice today.
