New Christopher Ward C63 Sealander GMT Dragonfly Blue

So it looks like Christopher Ward has released a new C63 Sealander GMT in what they are calling Dragonfly Blue. I like the looks a lot. What say you?

They also released a 36mm Auto with a new red sunburst dial at the same time.

As well, the bracelet on the new C63s is also available on the older models now. They call it the "Consort" bracelet, while the older bracelet is now called the "Bader".

Thanks, I was wondering if it was new but it was not in the email I received from them so I was not sure.

I have been happy with the ones I have gotten.

Both the new releases look great to me - could be very tempting...

I am really glad they have not update the green C63 Sealander GMT, that old dial logo has keep me from purchasing it for some time and if they did a green sunburst I do not know if I would keep away from my wallet.

·

I have two CW's and this is a nice watch. Only negatives (for me) is the price and not keen on the logo.

·

Tempting

·

Stunning looking watch

·

Oooh I may have to get the red, how many nice red dial watches are there?!

·

Sharp!

The logo looks like it was conceived & designed by school leaver desperate to utilise the Swiss cross

·

@ChristopherWard wasn't lying, they fixed the clasp 🤯

For me, the change from just having the name in words (especially at 9 o’clock) has turned CW from a definite “no” to probably “yes” as a brand. Green Sealander is still in number one position for my green dial watch.

·

😠😠🤬🤬 Fixed the clasp how. The new bracelet looks ok but they have changed the clasp for a butterfly same as on the Twelve. I have never found a good fit with their butterfly clasps my wrist just doesn't seem to be designed for them.

Colours are ok and nice to see a sunburst dial as it is something Christopher ward do really well, but those of us who got the email were expecting more Barbie inspired baby pink and powder blue.

CW is making it more and more difficult for me to spend money on "luxury" watches. 😆

Was gonna post this. Reminds me of the blue dial Milgauss. Only difference is I can afford this one.. Tempting

·

That bracelet is beautiful. Even my wife likes the GMT.. and she at most tolerates my obsession, so that's a major win! 😂

·

I’m kinda shocked that there haven’t been any of two of my favorite comments in this thread. The bad: (places picture of another GMT or blue watch next to this picture) “I wonder where that design came from…”. And then the one that makes me chuckle from seeing again and again… “looks like Watch A had a baby with Watch B…” (my favorite was milgaus plus explorer 2😂).

·

Not very original, but well executed

·

Love the teal-aqua dial colour!

·

I've tried one of the Sealander GMTs with a white dial and really liked it. This dial color is spectacular but I don't like the new bracelet much with it.

·

Love it. #christopherward continues to kill it!

·

I love me a blue dial watch

·

Looks clean. A smaller case and female endlinks and it’s a go for me!

·

Yep, absolutely love the colour, but at 39mm and a bright blue dial, it's too close to my Farer Lander GMT for me to buy one.

If it was a 42 however...

Curiously, what's the difference between the two bracelets?

The "Bader" is an all brushed oyster style bracelet, with a micro-adjust clasp. The "Consort" is a five link bracelet, with two polished links in the middle, and a butterfly clasp.

It’s a great looking piece , they do great designs and the price is good 👍🏼

Love dragonflies, love blue dials:
