listed at $188 just it’s a no brainer for me so I’ll just bought it lol!!

·

Also these all  Seiko movements ❤️

·

I like Agnes B. I have a tendency to go for the unheard of different things. That dial is fire!

·

i like retrograde brew. i remembered looking agnes b logo on some women purse 😃

·

Agnes B is a french fashion designer https://www.agnesb.us/ So essentially its, Id assume, a chinese made fashion watch, like something from calvin klein or micheal kors. But if you like it, more power to you!💪

·

Also Fears has a great cushion style case. Lots of heritage and integrity. Farer watch just released a new cushion case style watch with a lot of personality.  Both reminiscent of Panarai but a lot lighter on the wallet. I love the Fears story & their build is absolutely gorgeous.

Yup I think ita a leather company/bags and clothing too…

When I read Details magazine in the early 90's they recommended the Agnes B. white shirt as some ne plus ultra. And that was the last I heard of what/whomever that is till today. Also, what the hell is this yes/no, on/off, SWS, PRNDL stuff on the dial? Is this a Ouija board or something?

I haven't seen them in person but Brew seems Too Damn Big to me going by specs. Anyway, all these have extra little doodads around the crown that nobody needs, so um. let me look for a second...how about a nice Alba AG8L

AG8L01X1

Or a Casio MQ27-7E?

If Megatron doesn’t win this poll, the whole thing is rigged.

Actually…the Stanhope is on its way so that‘s done 😂… for Fears it’s a great watch but steep in competition for the price point…

It’s an actual Seiko quartz watch made by Seiko and I believe it’s JDM so I don’t think it’s a Chinese knock off

I'm a big fan of this Lorier Zephyr. At first I thought it would just be a case of "yeah that's cool but it's too small for me" look, but then I saw it on Friday in the metal at Windup Watch Fair and I totally changed my mind. They got in a few pieces for sale the following day and, well, my credit card is now $500 heavier.

Worth. Every. Penny.

I can prove that it is Seiko. Look at the alignment.

I'd go with the Retrograde Brew! Between the 2 Brew's. But then you threw in the Angus b making it a little tough choice. Out of those 3 I'd go with the Retrograde.

Now @ChronoGuy responding to post about quartz watches. Posted a slew of amazing quartz chronographs that blew my buy list out of the water.

Have a look, You might find yourself back to square one as I have!

Dang et I thought I can order it online but not until End of October!! were you able to purchase it at the fair? So lucky but thank you for pointing this out!! I‘ve been looking it the right tonneu shape case and this might be it!!

Yeah it was super lucky; I was fawning over the prototype and the rep was like, “Hey come back tomorrow…” 😂

So happy with this purchase!

Not a fan of Brew at all - so had to select Megatron.

I find Brew a little pricey for what you get - same with Autodromo.

However, I am way more attracted to Autodromo designs so I have picked up a couple...

Some really interesting square chronographs that never made it into production were these Ayrton references from Bern of New Zealand. I was able to pick up the prototypes...

Available in a GMT or no-GMT version.

The BREW watches look fantastic. They nailed the styling. But, and I feel like I'm the only one this matters to because no one else seems to ever point it out, the VK movement only times for 1 hour before stopping and nearly everything I need a chronograph for requires being able to time for longer than an hour (parking, roasting a chunk of meat, bread rising, bike ride, job site billing) so as good as the BREW looks (and it's admittedly a stunner, enough so that I've considered buying one anyway) I can't get past the one hour limit on the chronograph.

No chronograph on the Aevig, but good colours available, and reasonably priced considering it's titanium. 39mm diameter. 12.3mm thick. 20mm strap size. Kinda ticks a lot of boxes for a lot of people. YMMV

·

I always screw these polls up. I clicked on the picture of the Agnes B to get a closer look at it, and it cast my vote for that one. There needs to be an option to change your vote. This isn't the first time I've done this, either. (You'd think I would remember by now. 🙄😂)

·

My choice isn’t here. I want the Brew Retro Metric Retro Dial. Been eyeing that for the longest time.

Here, I vote for the Brew Retrograde. I got a thing for square or rectangle cases. Somehow they have this very 70’s and 80’s look.

·

Let me see...hmmm...Yep, as I suspected there is a useless 24Hr indicator on the brew. Ditch it and get the Agnes.

·

Agnes is interesting, but I like the look of the Brew watches

·

I really enjoy the Brew dial, but it looks a tad too long for my tastes. Depending on how much money you're looking to drop, I REALLY enjoy the vintage Omega Speedmaster TV dials. Alternatively, Omologato makes an homage for $600ish

Omega Speedmaster 176.0014 "TV Dial" Cal. 1045 - SOLD
PANAMERICANA

Also, you can get a TV dial speedmaster for under $1k. Which also looks good to me

Looks amazing but how do you rotate the GMT hand? And isn't it a bit limited without a rotating bezel?

·

Ok guys look what came last night and wearing it today woohoo!!

Hope to get the Agnes next week or hopefully sooner … 😉

It uses a Seiko NH34 GMT movement. In the first click position you turn the crown one way to set the date and the other way to set the GMT hand. Yeah, not having the rotating bezel means you can only track 2 time zones (main hands and GMT hand, which is still 24 hour time) but it makes for a much cleaner watch IMHO.
