Welcome. Nice collection sir. 👌

Cheers Pal

·

I turned WatchCrunch on dark mode and all I see are dark dialed tool watches.

·

Sweet collection!

·

Welcome! Nice collection, dark dial theme.

·

This is a wild guess but you're partial to dark dials on a watch - am I right?  Just messin' with you. Beautiful collection !

·

Damned fine collection

·

Great collection, I like the Hamilton and Oris in particular!!

·

Next comes the square dress watch .

·

Great collection!, Seiko Arnie is still my number one choice 🤣. Panerai come second and follow up by Bremont.

·

Nice collection - looks like you need a dress watch in there. Possibly something dressy/sporty like the Tissot PRX or the Maurice Lacroix Aikon. Personally, I think the ML Aikon is a very underrated watch. Often claimed as a homage to the Royal Oak, it really combines Royal Oak dial with Omega Constellation case and then adds in the integrated strap where you can swap out the bracelet for a beautiful alligator - sporty to dressy in a quick second (has a special quick-change strap function). Folks with a narrow knowledge of watch design fail to notice the Constellation style case - I think it's a really cool mash-up personally. Great value as well as it comes in under $2k.

Here are some photos with the bracelet and with the strap (blue dial for me - of course):

I see your Tag in the collection. I bought my F1 (pictured) in 1994. It has traveled many places with me through the years.

·

Great collection, and well-balanced!! Love the Panerai!!

·

Great collection 👍

·

Ah - someone with a Bremont.

Please can you tell us what your experience has been with it, I’ve been trying to convince myself I don’t need one but I don’t know anybody who has one to tell me otherwise.

That one is too large for my taste, but if you like it, it is still an awesome watch and a freaking NOMOS! 🤣 I'm a huge fan of the brand as you can see

I see a lot of love for NOMOS and it is one I definitely want to have in the collection, unfortunately I have to go for the larger size as I have big arms, tried a CWC once which I loved but on my wrist it looked like it was out of a kinder egg 😢

I can say you won’t be disappointed my friend I love mine, I was looking to go for the Jet, however as I was in my early stages of collecting and selling and swapping I didn’t want to take such a huge lost if I did sell it so I went for the Solo, and I love the simplicity of it

Yeah - I thought as much. I have been tracking the Martin Baker, although I haven’t used an ejector seat so I can’t get the MBI, the MBII is very handsome, and the Broadsword is a decent Dirty Dozen homage. Then again Vertex are back on the scene so I do desire one of those homages as well.

Do you like Graham? Have you tried those? I let 2 slip through the net, proper gutted, a Chronofighter and a Silverstone.

It’s funny, NOMOS is the brand that got me into this crazy hobby.  But ive never owned one!    I’ve tried many on and most if not all of their models wear larger than the specs.

you get a ton of watch for the 💵

That’s good to know will try one one before I decide 👍

·

👌I would add a watch with white dial to the collection

Not come across Graham will look in to them, I have looked at the Sinn in the past like the 908 and 104

Yeah think I need to look at adding some more range of sail colour 👍

They are an aquired taste but if you like pilot style and British (i.e. Bremont) then you might have come across them.

Sinn I don’t really do, but it’s not a slight on them or German watchmaking, I just haven’t gone down that avenue. I am a fan of a Tutima Chronograph for the vintage Lemania 5100 style of watch, and the Muhle Rescue is a recent discovery thanks to this place and is probably the next high-end target for me.

·

thats funny. my wife can not stand when i talk about watches. 😂

Thank you, it’s funny you suggested the Aikon, I am a big fan and agree very underrated and is related to my biggest sale regret, I had the Aikon Ref No:AI6018-PVB01-331-1 and I would love to have it back

Excellent watch you had there.

Not that I needed another Aikon once I had the blue dial version, I happened to see this one when it was first offered and couldn't resist - the work on the case and the bracelet (all original factory) was too good to pass up:

I like the Bremont in there I haven't seen a lot of them on here!

·

I love a black dial myself , nice collection Sir.

·

I love your collection. Great array of watches and styles. Love the Bremont. I have been wanting one for a few years but I keep skipping and getting something else.

·

Welcome, great collection.  I love the G Shock GA 2100.  That's "God Tier" you know.  Seamaster is cool as well.

Would you believe that it was my wife that got me into collecting watches.  She created the monster.

Thank you my friend, I really enjoy my Bremont but I fully understand the feeling of saving for a watch and then something else catches your eye 😂
