I’m a big fan of the weiss though retail prices have increased over the years.
1mm off at 36mm, but this Vaer may have the look of an explorer / flieger.
Extremely happy with it. Takes just about any strap and dresses up and down with ease.
Prices to buy new have gone up recently but you can still find them preowned around 1k.
My take as well. Not much of a risk. You were able to grab one of the most popular dials. And I like the little interesting you get. Yes, it’s a Seiko 5. But there’s a little more to it. Worth the price? Maybe, maybe not. That’s subjective.
Give it try and see how you like it. Worst case, shouldn’t be hard to move and get your money back. Overall that’s a pretty good position to be in.
