We all love the dials and fronts of our watches, but I do sometimes just find myself looking lovingly into the back completely mesmerised by how this little thing of beauty works ๐ช

Is that a SeaGull? Exquisite!
Now that is a good looking movement ๐
A beauty, one of the reasons the seagull is so popular ๐
I do like seeing the movement but I do also appreciate a good SS decorated case back ๐
Rolex going for the minimalist styling here..
As legendary as the Speedy is for its space travels etc, itโs this that has tempted me the most. The sapphire sandwich is a different level of beauty.
I also really like my manual wind Studio Underdog caseback
And these are my favourite automatic ones.
Love an exhibition caseback ๐๐ช๐ผ
Hangzhou 2189, Vostok 2416B, Sturmanskie 31659.
There's also a display of Sellita SW200-1B on the Moels, the Seiko NH35 on my Tandorio SKX, and a couple of 63s which I should probably photograph.
Nothing fancy, my Carnival Pilot. I am not sure the movement. I think a miyota. If anyone knows . Feel free to share. Thanks
Powermatic 80 on the Tissot PRX
Another one of the SeaGull ST1901 from the Studio Underd0g 01 Series
Balticโs Hangzhou 5000A micro-rotor. It also begs the question: does an โuglyโ micro rotor exist??

Seiko 5 peanuts with translucent case back
Animal RIP Mega Watch with Seiko kinetic movement
Ok, now I need details!!!! Iโve never seen an exhibition quarts case back like that.
Its a Junghans Meister Mega Small Seconds, a radio controlled watch. It was an eBay find and I just love it. It is interesting that it has a display case.
45 series GS high beat
Glycine Airman Quartz
Seiko SRPE79
Here's a few of my favorites....
This is the skeleton version of the Armand Nicolet O.H.M. series, using movements sourced from the 50s and 60s. It's a pretty cool looking movement and definitely not something that I see every day.
Here are a few...I don't have too many images in the database...need to spend more time taking some photos of casebacks...
I love my GO but they donโt call it the PanoMaticInverse for no reason! The case back got flipped! So you must see the dial side! Also love my GS 9SA5 & 9RA2. Lange Datogtaph Flyback is a friends.
That Lange movement is divine.
Love an exhibition case back!
Itโs the only case back photo I have.
Here's a pic of the Citizen 9011 movement on my NB1060
