WC App Update 2.0.2 is 💯🔥👏
For anyone who was mostly sticking with the browser version of WC like I was, I’m happy to say that now’s the time to make the move to the app! The #wruw gallery and scrolling is much improved with great new features like tagging and the ability to filter by Crunchers you’re following.
Nice work squashing bugs and tweaking the UX, @Max and crew! 👏

I see comments are now grouped “into” their respective WRUW posts too! Very nice!

I VERY MUCH dislike the 'click into each WRUW post before being able to choose which emoji reaction I use' feature which exists on both the native site and the app.
My wristy badges got reset and I lost my numbers! I literally just reach 60! Technically at 63 I think now. Very sad 😭

Yeah, it does add a step. Also, beer-cheers is gone :/ rip 🍻lol. I wonder if a “hold to choose a reaction” like FB is coming, or if the devs are making a move to just encourage hearting posts like IG.

I notice that the app version of WRUW just never stops. It's not split into days, you can just scroll endlessly forever. That's a HUGE downgrade for me. I like the daily update, and I will check out all the posts every day, now there's no indicator as to where to stop
Since I react to all posts, That gives me a way to see when to stop, but that does require that I do it daily. Some days I just can't make it to all of them, so having those defined would be great.

So now, when I go on to the WRUW page (web browser), the date is already showing as Tue 22nd (which it is here in Germany). So should I post my picture now, or wait until 10am like I would normally have to in order to get the correct day?
So many (let's be real: insignificant) issues on what was my favourite part of the site!
Great job so far @WatchCrunch. I do have a few remarks and suggestions.
Make a top sticky post when updates or changes occur so we can collate and review the moans, praises and suggestions easily without repeating ourselves.
Tweak the notifications for the WRUW posts. Since each one is now effectively a post it's difficult to get what's the notification is about since an WRUW post doesn't have a title. Maybe change the generic "reacted to your post" notification to "reacted to your WRUW post"?
Tweak the WRUW posts and add to the left side panel a link to WRUW. It's a bit difficult to get back to WRUW once you drill down into a WRUW post.
@WatchCrunch There is an inconsistency between the post reaction count and the preview reaction count. It probably has to do with the missing emojis that I mentioned in my comment above.

I was sticking with safari but now the navigation and filtering of WRUW is awesome; thumbnail view etc
I know about “everybody gets a heart” lol but clicking into the image to select a different reaction is super-quick loading, very responsive. Nice 👌

Edit: Back on Safari to add an additional comment 😂 This gif doesn’t work from the app. Additionally I think I lost quite a bit on my “comedian” and “sharpshooter” stats with the changeover but hey ho.
