Does your most expensive watch cost more than your car or maybe even your house

In which order?

I live in rented accommodation, my most valuable possession is my 2022 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 then my Seamaster.

I don't drive, really doesn't appeal, I've no ambition to own much else tbh, I'm not very materialist - watches & high speed are my only material weaknesses 🤣

Hear this now, if my watch is ever more expensive than my house, shoot me.

·

2022 Toyota Corolla Hatchback 6 Speed Manual, great car for a great price!

·

More than one of my watches is more expensive than my car - but then that's a 15 year old third hand Volvo, so.... 😂

·

No, not even close.

·

I don’t own a car and I rent so defaultly my watch is my the most expensive….😅🤔🤷

(One month rent cost about as much as my most expensive watch)

·

All my watches in total are more expensive than my car, but not any one individually

·

House by a ton.

This right here.

·

Don't own a car, i rent

...

Does that mean my watch is the most expensive

·

No car, no house. But my monthly rent still trumps my dearest watch, so there's that.

Love that bike! I have a 2020 Street Triple RS and a 2020 Tiger 900 GT Pro. Looking to add the Thruxton FE to the collection once they announce prices here.

Also, my most expensive watch is not even close in value to any of my bikes or car (let alone home), it’s between my CW C63 Celest or my Vulcain Skindiver.

·

My watch enthusiast buddies used to joke that our watch hobby would land us in a large cardboard box under a controversial highway that needs to be torn down as future housing in Toronto grows more onerous to afford. My watches do typically cost more than a pre owned Harley that belongs to the young Japanese fella who trims my hair every 2 months. He does not wear a watch but earns a much higher income than I do.

·

We talking MSRP of each or current value of each? Because my watches retained much more value than the car. So at current values watch worth more than car, but not original price paid.

·

All you walking renters with your watches being the most expensive. So bougie!

·

My 15 year old car is still worth about 5 times the rent for my flat which is still more than I paid for my most expensive watch. I'll try to keep the car going and the collection growing to invert that order one day.

🤣 Spot on. Not heard that expression for yonks 😁👍🏻👍🏻

Me either. I’ve never actually said it but heard it plenty. 😆

The fact remains: They’ll never know true freedom!

Triumph bros for life!

·

My most valuable possessions 🤔 would be my 2 Cameras put together they are worth more than my most expensive watch. My Omega is $3500 or so. The one digital Camera is $3600 and the ‘77 Canon is priceless.

·

What about if you live in your car?

·

I'm homeless, so my watch costs more than my bicycle and mongrel dog.

·

I don’t even own a car nor do I have my own apartment/house 😭😂

·

My watch is more expensive than my car and my most expensive watch is only about $4.5K in the secondary market. That's a lot of money, but by car standards, I drive a jalopy. If I ever bought a watch as expensive as my house, I will have lost my mind.

·

My job provides housing and I don't think all 25 of my inexpensive watches add up to be half of my cars value. I drive a loaded 2017 Hyundai Elantra for context lol

·

House > Car > Watch as it should be right? :) no matter which of my cars or watches I choose also if I sum all my watches and cars together the house is more valuable.

Bought it from a man living in a motel six for $1200. Think I would definitely have to upgrade before getting a watch worth more lol. I used to have a nice house, one divorce later and it's rent city baby. It's funny because when I got into watches she told me "now don't go and buy ten 100$ watches when you could get a nice watch for a thousand." To which I replied "I'm sorry but you married the ten 100$ watch guy."

·

I mean atm I have no house and no car so A but I feel like that's cheating

·

My BLNR Cost more then my 14 accord, 18 rogue and pretty soon it may surpass my 18 Silverado. I have 12 Hyundai and 12 4 Runner in DR.. so worth more than the Hyundai to. I just picked up another Sonata (21) to send to DR soon. Took a pic this morning actually.

Am i sourcing the gun myself or are you providing 😂

·

To the legends who picked watches, what businesses do you run. Or are you just plain irresponsible? 🥂😂

·

I don't own a car (thank G-d) or a house, so my watches are easily the most expensive physical objects that I own.
