Hi y’all. I’m kind of new here so I thought an introduction would be in order. My name is Gary and I live in North Carolina, USA. I’ve never really considered myself a collector but I have accumulated 15 or 20 watches over the years.
Most of my watches are quartz, Seiko, Pulsar and Citizen as well as few other brands fill my watch boxes. I retired a few years ago and haven’t worn my watches much since then but I‘ve been starting to pull them out again. And I have started exploring Citizen Eco-Drive and other automatics recently.
I found this forum while looking for information about watch batteries. Today I ordered a watch tool kit, batteries (and some car wash accessories) from Amazon.
I expect I’ll be asking questions soon…thanks for taking a look at my musings.
Welcome, Gary!
Welcome to WC!

#welcome. Don’t get influenced by what you see..before you know you will have 50 watches
Retired here too Gary , now I have time for these diversions also , welcome to the forums
Hi and welcome.
Welcome to our little rabbit hole. Have a look at Tissot or Certina as they are good entry level swiss offerings. We all know your going to end up with a Swiss watch eventually now.

I was looking at Tissot this morning. Also, the watch repair guy has a quartz Tissot in stock. I would like an automatic but they run down when I wear my quartz watches due to inactivity.
I like your taste! I have a photonomatic eco drive from my more tasteful days and it's.. not too bad.
Welcome to WC! Great collection. Although, saying that you have 15-20 watches and then claiming you're not a collector is exactly what a watch collector would say 😂
Neat collection you got there. Welcome to WC! A place where everyone supports diversity, regardless of your grail.
