As I am based in Germany, it is easier to see Nomos ADs on high streets around the country. I would say that Nomos sets the difference between people who like watches and people who are into watches. It’s a subtle difference in the grammar but a profound difference in the concept.

The 50 phantoms is a stunner! It just makes me smile every time I look at it.. didn’t manage to get this the limited edition but I have placed my order for the blue edition with the ghost bezel👌roll on march when I take delivery 🤞
Any Seiko that sells for more than a grand but doesn't say Grand on the dial, and any high-quality watch that takes effort to get but doesn't tell strangers how much it cost (Sinn, Christopher Ward, etc).

Grand Seiko 🤷🏻♂️
It depends, if I want to subtly find out then it would be my CW but if I really want to scream do you like watches then my Tuna.

Love the Dartmouth. Probably my most comfortable watch on the bracelet

I considered the Tangente, but I prefer the Stowa Antea, for its heritage

Nomos are a pretty rare sight in the UK.
This is quite a good barometer
Some of my detectors…
Lovely Nomos. Wear it in good health! 😉🤣

This is more so. 😊😋
Damasko

Any Sinn is always a good way to measure watch “geekness”. 😄
Sinn 556 and Hanhart preventor 9.

The fifty phantoms would def be a giveaway for me!
Glashütte Original PanoMaticInverse is probably my most nerdy watch detector followed by some GS’s and maybe my Porsche Design Chrono.
White Birch Hi-Beat
Lake Suwa 5 Day Spring Drive

This beauty for me. A very old seiko actus from back in 1976. This is the conversation starter💚
I’d say Nomos Tangente…though I have the Club as well🤣
I second this 🙋
I believe any watch that screams "I am not this person's only watch!" qualifies:
Most of my watches are pretty obscure, for example the Sinns, Tudor, and Grand Seiko. If someone knows about them they’re probably a watch person.
Nomos 😍
Exquisite! 👌🏻Is it also a 976 with dark dial?
Yes. I decided on a black Reverso since I have a white Tank

Make sense, great duo 💪🏻
Hanhart and UN. Solid detectors, even amongst slightly educated
