What’s Your Heaviest Watch?
Because I feel no shame in any of the watches I own, I freely wear them despite each of their unique characteristics — be it color, age, material, or in this case…sheer mass. I believe watches are like animals — each one is created equal within its intended environment.
My Invicta Expedition tips the scales at 217 grams, second only in weight to my 232 gram Invicta Stormtrooper. Can you imagine if this had a steel bracelet?
Like the 204.6 inch, 7000 lb. Ford Expedition with its Triton V8, my Invictas rumble along the winding roads of my daily journeys like brutish juggernauts. It’s no wonder watch enthusiasts either love them or hate them. I have yet to find anyone sitting square on a fence.
What’s your heaviest and/or bulkiest watch that you wear with no shame?
Time dictates my linear path to its bitter end. My watches keep me one step ahead of time…and one foot out of the grave.
Seiko King Turtle...great watch but an absolute THICC boy. It has it's own gravity.
This Spinnaker Dumas on steel bracelet weighs in at 189 g. I wear it very occasionally and almost returned it due to it's weight.

Thank you i just switch out the bezel yesterday as an experiment I think the color scheme really works.
This weighs in at 185 including bracelet. I don't forget I'm wearing it; sometimes you just need to be wearing something chunky! At 42mm and over 51mm lug it's also my largest regular wear watch.

I’ve had a bunch of Invictas in my time. Many were huge. Got to be too heavy for my puny wrists. I only have two now. The full sized venom has to be my heaviest watch.

I haven't weighed them all, but these two have to be up there tied for first place...the gold bracelets are quite hefty...
Turtle on oem bracelet is over 180 Gram it's too much sometime. But thanks to the uncle we have solutions. ❤️ back to 16o grams on the z199 reissue.

I will not participate in fat shaming any watch or brand. This is a safe, case-positive Site. These are all healthy, normal watch cases and we should not judge any of them by how many grams on a scale or the diameter of their cases. Daily we are faced with negative stereotypes in the media of 38mm diameter and near 11mm thick watch cases in pictures and this is just not what young watches and watch manufactures, be they heritage rich traditional brands or new microbrands should try to emulate and themselves then project onto the watch buying public at large. 😜

It has a very nice ISA Swiss chronograph movement with a smooth action reset. I think it’s a great quality watch.
My heaviest is my Android diver all stainless steel inc strap weighs in at approx 290 grams/ 10.2 ounces
I can wear it for a day then it just becomes too heavy, it’s a serious bit of metal
